Lobuche East or Lobuche East (6119 m) is one of the most popular and visited trekking peaks in Nepal. And this is not surprising, because the road to the mountain is the famous trek to Everest Base Camp, and the mountain itself is in close proximity to the Everest-Lhotse-Nupjie massif. On the slopes of Lobuche you can not only get the experience of climbing the not-so-easy 6000-unit, but also enjoy the views of the Peace Peak and other Nepalese giant mountains surrounding it.
And this program is unique in its own way, because the ascent will be held jointly with the participants of Everest Kuluar and Lhotse expeditions! From Kathmandu to the summit of Lobuche we will hike side by side with the team going to the summit of the World and even live together for a few days in the Everest base camp!
In addition, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the services of this program include practically everything: selection and booking of domestic flights, all permits, all accommodation and catering services in Everest BC, as well as the possibility of getting a separate porter for each participant (up to 25 kg).
In order to take part in the Ascent on Lobuche it is highly desirable to have some experience of climbing or trekking at the altitude of 5000 m and such technical skills as the ability to walk in the crampons and use the insurance on the railings. There is separate training time with Kuluar teamleaders and local Nepalese guides to practice these skills. But if you do not have such skills, we recommend to visit our mountaineering school in the Carpathians.
In case of bad weather we have reserve days for climbing to the summit!

For climbing on Lobuche the experience of previous ascents to heights over 5000 m is very desirable. It can be:
- Climbing Kazbek (5,033 m)
- Climbing Mont Blanc (4,810 m) - below 5,000 m, but technically more difficult than the previous ones.
- Ascent of Kilimanjaro (5 895 m)
- Trekking in Nepal (treks with heights from 5000 m)
Together with the Lhotse and Everest climbing team
Nikita Balabanov (holder of the Golden Ice-axe, the most prestigious alpinist award) and Taras Pozdny (climber on Everest, Manaslu and Cho Oyu) will lead the group on the route. They will share their climbing tips and advice on the climb.
You will have a unique opportunity to live for 2 days in BC Everest with other climbers, which in a simple trek or trekking peak - impossible!
Our groups live in the best lodges on the trek and use only trusted porters and local guides.
During which you will see the iconic peaks, as well as learn about the culture and traditions of the Sherpa people.

You are advised by manager Dmitry with extensive personal experience in climbing.
All participants will be personally met at the airport by teamleader or a Nepali assistant who will take them by cab to the hotel, where there will also be a meeting with the teamleader. It is very desirable to arrive in the morning, and if possible a day earlier. This way you can have a better rest after the flight, check or buy more equipment.
Early rise and flight to Lukla (2800 m). Here we meet our team of porters. We will spend a few hours in Lukla to repack, then a short rest, and go to Phakding. The first day of the trek is not hard - we will hike 8 km, and the total elevation will be only going down (the altitude of Phakding is 2600 m).
We start moving gently up and along the Dudh Kosi stream. Soon we can see the famous Hillary Bridge! From there begins the ascent to Namche Bazaar, one of the longest climbs on the trek. At the end of the steep part of the climb will be the first place on the trek where you can see the Everest massif! After arriving in the Sherpa capital we will have lunch, settle in at the lodge and hike to the monument to Tenzing Norgei, the Sherpa who, along with Hillary, was the first to climb Everest.
This day we will spend in and around Namche for better acclimatization. Today our goals for the day are: the famous Everest View Hotel, Kumjung village where Bigfoot scalp is kept, Hillary Memorial (4000m). During the day we will be accompanied by views of the Himalayan peaks - Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Nuptse (7,861m), Ama Dablam (6,814m).
Today we are trekking to Tyangboche. Here is the most famous monastery in Khumbu and the most revered Sherpa monastery. If possible, we will go to puja to ask the gods for a successful ascent of Lobuche, as well as Lhotse and Everest for the other members of our group.
We take a scenic path through rhododendron forest down to the river. From here begins another long ascent. The whole day we will be accompanied by views of Everest-Lhozze-Nupzee massif, but especially Ama-Dablam, a dream for many climbers. We also have a fall program for this mountain! After passing through the forest zone and the ascent, we will spend the night in the village of Dingboche.
We will spend this day to better adapt between 4,000 and 5,000 meters. We will walk lightly from Dingboche up to 5000+ meters (Nangkar Tsang peak), as always surrounded by majestic views. Today the list of surrounding peaks is completed by the picturesque 6000m peaks of Tavoche and Cholatse, and from the highest point on the day we can see Makalu on a clear day! For the night we descend to Dingboche.
We continue our way up to Everest base camp. After climbing the Lobuche Pass we will visit the memorial to the mountaineers who died on Everest and other 8000m high peaks. We will spend the night in Lobuche, but before sleeping we will go to the moraine berms to see the Khumbu glacier.
After a few hours ascent we will reach the Gorak Shep (5160 m) village. From there we go straight to the Everest base camp. Here we take tents and rest.
Today we are resting and gaining strength before going to Lobuche! If necessary we will organize technical training, work out the tactics of the group's movement on the rails. You can also take a hike to the picturesque seracs of the Khumbu glacier. Also, in case of bad weather, this day is a reserve day.
We get up early and ascent exit. Cala Pattar is a small summit on a local scale and technically "hikeable". But the views from it are beautiful. Plus it will be a good acclimatization before Lobuche. We will spend the night in Lobuche.
Today with all the necessary equipment we leave Lobuche in the direction of the summit camp. Depending on the conditions it may be located in several places between 5400 and 5700 meters. On arrival we settle down and rest until the night attack.
Night exit from the summit camp. The way from the camp to the summit goes along a fairly steep snowy and icy SE ridge. The views all around are amazing! After reaching the summit, a short rest, a group photo, and we head down. Depending on the timing today, either the whole group descends in Lobuche, or, if time permits, the groups say goodbye and split up. The group "Everest-Lhotse" goes to Everest BC, "Lobuche" - goes down the trek to a comfortable lodge (Ferice, Pangboche).
Today we take the familiar route to Namche Bazaar. Here you can wash up in a hot shower and go to a coffee shop!
Today we have a trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The last trekking that separates us from the flight to Kathmandu!
In the morning we fly to civilization, to Kathmandu. We have the rest of the day. In the evening a celebratory dinner in honor of the successful completion of our mountain trip!
We use this day (as well as the 10th day) in case of bad weather or a slow return back to Lukla. In case the group does not use it, we can spend it as a sightseeing day in Kathmandu. To visit the main attractions: Bodnath stupa, Monkey Temple, Durbar Square, Bhaktapur city and others.
Today we go to the airport for the flight home. We recommend that you take tickets for the end of the day so that you can spend more time in Kathmandu, buy souvenirs or visit interesting places. That is the end of our mountain trip. See you on new peaks!

To participate in the program, you need to take good insurance that is valid at altitudes up to 6000 m, covers mountain hiking, and includes helicopter evacuation. Please do not neglect this point. Mobile communications: 3G - will be in Namche Bazar, Tyangboche, Pangboche, Gorak Shep. In Lobuche, Dingboche, Chukung there is no mobile connection.
Wi-Fi, Everest link: there are in all lodges on the route, works well.
Electricity: above Pangboche - all electricity from solar panels. But the possibility to charge everywhere, just more expensive.
Shower: above Namche Bazar we do not recommend taking a shower, because there is a risk of catching a cold.
In Kathmandu we will stay at Hotel Arts ⭐⭐⭐⭐ or similar. Standard accommodation is in 2-bed rooms.
During the trek we live in lodges, which are tourist shelters with public showers and toilets (sometimes in the room). Food we order in the same lodge where we live. Rooms are very simple, small, for 2-3 people, not heated. Of furniture there are often only beds. Beds are made with linens, but it is recommended to take your sleeping bag and sleep in it. Upon request, you can ask the hosts for a blanket. Electricity is available in almost all loggias, but in the rooms there are rarely outlets.
To better understand the living conditions, we highly recommend watching some examples of lodges from our tracks. Click on the name: good lodge in Namche Bazar with a shower in the room, basic lodge in Dole - without shower and with ice in the washbasin, cool rooms at Eco Resort in Gokyo, standard lodge in Chukung, mug of tea after a night in the room in Gorak Shep. Even if you sleep in other localities, the lodges will be about the same level.
Individual accommodation is possible for the entire program, it costs +$250. Be sure to notify the manager in advance. Please note that individual accommodation is not possible for overnight stays at the Pyramid - there is simply not enough room.
During the ascent we live in tents (we provide).
The menu at all lodges is extremely varied (different types of eggs, pasta, soups, potatoes, pizza, rice). An interesting feature is that the same dishes in different lodges can be cooked differently and taste completely different! Food prices increase proportionally with altitude. On average, it will take $15-$25 per day to eat normally.

Let's face it, some people like Nepalese food a lot, but there are also those who "don't get it". You can take some bacon and sausage stick with you.
We eat freeze-dried food during the ascent.
Most of the expedition takes place at high altitudes. Daytime temperature will be about +15 ... +20 degrees, at night it can drop to -15. Rains are rare. Characteristic weather for mountainous regions is clear morning and cloudy evening.
The total amount of additional expenses will be approximately $300 + airfare. We recommend that you take at least another $200 for souvenirs and other small pleasantries.
