An incredibly awesome hike. I recommend it to anyone who’s ever thought about going hiking in the mountains. It’s best to start with a 3-day route—that’ll be more than enough to get you started. There’s no need to worry about anything—your advisor and trip leader will be happy to help you with everything and tell you the best way to do things (the main thing is to listen to their advice). Overall, the hike turned out to be really great. Incredible views, delicious food outdoors, and new acquaintances and friends definitely made it worth it. I want more, more, and more…. Have a safe hike, and good luck! )

We went on a kayaking trip down the Desna with Kuluar this summer – it was absolutely brilliant. The trip was superbly organised; you don’t need to carry anything extra in your kayak, as there’s a separate support van to transport everything. They’ll feed you, keep you hydrated, and entertain you with stories and heart-to-heart chats round the campfire. My husband and I really had a brilliant time – the perfect break from the city and the daily grind. I highly recommend it.

Everything was organised absolutely brilliantly: I arrived in the morning – they recommended places to visit, a lovely place for breakfast, the best place to leave my belongings, arranged a transfer, a shower and everything else. I’d particularly like to mention the team leader, Vasia: he’s got a great sense of humour, is a brilliant cook, and I’d give him a thumbs-up for the songs around the campfire too!)

A really interesting and action-packed trip. The weather was absolutely brilliant; we could see the whole of the Carpathians – even the Romanian side. Our guide, Olia, was the life and soul of the group, sharing all sorts of stories about the mountains, as well as delicious breakfasts and dinners. And as a bonus – the climb up Hutyn Tomnatyk. I felt refreshed both mentally and spiritually; the Carpathians are healing and inspiring. Thank you for this holiday.

This is my third time going on a mountain trek with Kuluar — and I haven’t regretted it once. The organisation, from the very start right through to returning from the trek, is simply top-notch. A huge thank you to the managers for always being on hand and for sorting everything out so quickly and easily 🤍 It was my first time going on a trek with a fairly light rucksack and not spending the night in a tent. And it’s a completely different experience. The realisation that, after a busy day, you’re returning to a place with a soft bed and a hot shower — and all this amidst the incredible beauty of the Carpathians — is simply indescribable. The mountain hut is a little piece of paradise on earth 🏔️

The hike itself was packed with highlights: from an incredible sunrise to delicious sandwiches at the summit (by the way, you certainly won’t go hungry with Kuloar 😄).

I am incredibly grateful to everyone in our group — ‘3x3 and Lesia’ ❤️ And a special thank you to Lesia for making this trip easy, interesting, exciting and inspiring… In fact, I could go on for ages listing all the positive things about it.

I know one thing: next time I’ll meet up with Kuluar again — already looking forward to new adventures 🏔️❤️

I really enjoyed the hike. Incredible scenery, a friendly atmosphere and a complete sense of oneness with nature. My first three-day hike in the Carpathians. It was brilliant and incredibly moving! Thank you to the team that came together, and especially to our leader Hanna Selemenieva – she’s brilliant! If you’re not keen on military-style discipline, then you should definitely go with her! The evening atmosphere of the Carpathians and a leisurely morning coffee without any rush – that’s Hanna for you. Thank you for an unforgettable trip and all the happy memories.

It was beautiful, delicious, interesting and atmospheric. A special thank you to our group leader Olga for the delicious borscht, the interesting routes and organising the birthday celebrations. The Gorgany are a true natural wonder, with few tourists but incredible views. I’d definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed the hike and the organisation. We weren’t left hungry; Mr Oleksandr Lyakh prepared everything deliciously and on time. It was particularly brilliant to deviate slightly from the itinerary and spend the night near Mount Grofetskyi, as well as to watch both the sunset and the sunrise on Mount Grofa.

It was my first camping trip and it went brilliantly. I really enjoyed the itinerary, the incredible places and the magical scenery🥰. Watching the sunrise on Mount Grofi on my birthday was one of the best moments of my life. I highly recommend this route. Thank you to Andrii Domshyn for creating such an amazing atmosphere during our hike through Svydovets 🫶 I can’t say that Andrii did his job well, because he wasn’t really working — he was genuinely enjoying every moment of it, and you could feel that energy! While you’re still barely peeking out of your sleeping bag because it’s chilly and you don’t want to get up, Andrii is already chopping firewood and cooking one of his signature dishes 💥💥 His cooking deserves a special mention!!! No dried or dehydrated food — everything was fresh! We had solyanka, green borscht, Italian pasta 🤗 In other words, it was basically a gastro tour! And he does everything calmly, effortlessly, and with a positive attitude. Even when small problems come up, he knows exactly how to handle them 😎 A big thank you to our consultant Anna as well — always professional, patient, and a pleasure to communicate with!

A wonderful route, moderately challenging, more of an emotional experience with stunning views of the Carpathians, a lovely place to stay overnight – we stayed in a very colourful tourist lodge (there was even a flying squirrel living with us in the house; I was genuinely surprised to find that such animals exist in Ukraine). A special thank you to Olga Zapalova for the wonderful atmosphere and positive spirit!

I’ve been on several trekkings with Vira (summer, winter and Camino). As a group leader and as a person, she’s simply wonderful: she’ll support and comfort you in any situation. You wake up in the morning – breakfast’s ready – and you can just enjoy your holiday. She’s thought of and organised everything down to the smallest detail. Just writing this makes me want to head back to the mountains.

It was my first trip to the mountains! I’m 200 per cent satisfied. An interesting route, fantastic places. A special thank you to our team leader, Oleksandr Lyakh: he told fascinating stories, kept the team spirit high and fed us delicious food =) He made a few minor adjustments to the route due to the weather conditions, so our final night’s accommodation was comfortable and dry. If you want a break from air raid alerts and the constant stream of news – this is definitely the place for you. I’m incredibly grateful to Kuluar and Oleksandr for organising the trip and planning it so thoughtfully. It was, in a way, a test to see if I’d enjoy this sort of holiday – and I absolutely loved it, so this definitely won’t be my last trip with you; I’m already looking at the next routes =)

The programme has come to an end and there’s a bit of a void now. Everything was brilliant; the mountain really put us through our paces a bit. The group was brilliant and close-knit; thanks to our team leader, Anastasia Domanova, we all made it through – she’s a treasure trove of useful information and a walking first-aid kit. By the way, Nastya celebrated her birthday at the summit. She’s experienced and professional.

I’d like to thank the KULUAR team for organizing the hike. The itinerary was very packed, but it didn’t feel too difficult because everything was planned so well. A big thank you to the team leader, who organized the route and our free time so well. The food on the hike deserves a special mention—I highly recommend it to everyone.
