The program includes reserve days in case of bad weather, which greatly increases the chances of a successful ascent of Mont Blanc.
We do not cancel or shift groups. If the manager approved the purchase of a ticket, you can surely buy it. The hike will not be canceled due to our fault.
The manager has personally been to Mont Blanc and will advise you knowledgeably.
Experienced Kuluar teamleaders, who have been to Mont Blanc many times, will accompany the participants throughout the program.

The group meets the teamleader at an agreed location (depending on the circumstances, it may be the group's campsite, apartments, bus station). First of all, the teamleader checks the equipment of each participant. If something is missing, do not worry - in fact, everything can be bought on the spot. The prices are approximately the same as at us. In the evening all participants can get acquainted with each other and their guide(s) and ask any questions about the program. Overnight at the campsite, if you want you can stay at a hotel, apartments (not included in the price, but our managers will help you find them, if necessary).
Most of our groups are now acclimatizing on Le Tour glacier (as the Grand Montets cable car is under repair). So after breakfast the group leaves for the village Le Tour and climbs by cable car up to a height of 1850-2200 m (depending on which turn of the cable car is open). From there the group ascends on foot in a few hours to the Albert I hut (2702 m). The hut is right next to the glacier, so this is where we start the training itself. Teamleaders explore the group's skills, see who can do what and how to walk in the crampons. They help us remember all the necessary mountaineering skills for climbing Mont Blanc. Also our being in the high altitude zone is equally important. The body starts to get used to the new conditions. We go back to Chamonix for the night.
Early rise and departure of the group to the Les Houches village. We start to gain altitude. We take the cable car and then the mountain streetcar up to the station Nid d'Aigle (2,372m). There is still about three hours of a leisurely hike to the hut Tete Rousse. The ascent is not too fast, as it allows the organism to get accustomed to the altitude. We will spend the night in stationary tents near the hut (if you want you can stay in the shelter). If we have enough time, we will ascend 100-200 m more for better acclimatization. The tents at the camp are large 8-seat tents, complete with sleeping mattresses and blankets. However, to make sure we get a good warm sleep, we recommend taking a lightweight sleeping bag as well.
We are getting closer to the summit and tonight we will spend the night at the Gouter shelter, elevation 3,817 m. The ascent from Tete Rousse will take about 5-6 hours. For many beginners this is the most psychologically difficult section, as this is the only place on the mountain where you have to climb rocks. If you do not feel too comfortable at heights or do not have any climbing experience we strongly recommend to have some trainings with an instructor at the climbing stand before the trip, and even better to take one of our training programs in small mountains (you can ask the managers for details). The rest of the day will be spent on additional training (if time permits) and primarily on rest (going out at night, so the "lights out" early). It is from Gouter we will start our ascent of Mont Blanc from France. We spend the night in a hut.
This day is here! At night we go out to storm the highest peak of the Alps. Right away we go in the crampons. It takes about two hours to get to the intermediate peak Dome du Gouter (4304 m), the first checkpoint where the guides check the condition of the group. Then the descent to the saddle to the Vallot hut (4362 m). In fact, it is only a small cabin, but it may provide some shelter. Here we rest and check the condition of the group once again. A few more ascents and the route comes out to the famous summit ridge of Mont Blanc. The summit is near!
From here several long rises of incredibly beautiful snowy ridge and we are on the top of the Alps!
The whole ascent takes about 4.5-7 hours, the descent to the Gouter Hut takes another 2-3 hours. But our way goes further - to the shelter Tete Rousse. If participants need rest - the group can stay in Tete Rousse, for further descent we have day №6. However, most of the groups of recent seasons had time to descend not only here, but also further, to the mountain streetcar station and down into the valley. Only after that can we congratulate you on your successful ascent of Mont Blanc!

The reserve day is provided in case of bad weather or insufficient acclimatization of the participants. If we went to the mountain as planned, we'll spend it walking around Chamonix and exploring the surroundings.
The first half of the day can be used as a backup.
Transfer to Geneva (or wherever you need to go), group farewell. Tickets for home are best taken late tonight or tomorrow morning.
Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the route.

The most favorable season for climbing Mont Blanc is considered the period from late June to early September. This is when the weather is warmest and most stable.
In summer the temperature in Chamonix rises to +25 and above during the day, but with increasing altitude it becomes significantly colder. Night temperatures at an altitude of 3800 can drop to -20, at the very top during the ascent the temperature is usually kept around -5 ... -10 degrees. There is snow on Mont Blanc all year round.
All special equipment can be rented in Chamonix and not brought from home. It is not cheap, to rent the whole set (boots, crampons, ice axe, system, helmet) will cost 100-150 euros.
To climb Mont Blanc, you must be in good physical shape. Start running 3 months before the start of the ascent and train at least 3 times a week. Try to run as long as possible at a comfortable pace.
