My name is Dmytro Horbatov. I am consultant of Kuluar climbing club.
I cannot imagine my life without mountains and travel. Back in 2008 I went to the mountains for the first time, and since then I have fallen in love with them. It all started with the fact that I was invited to hike by my friend, who had never been in the mountains, and classmate who lived in Ivano-Frankivsk, decided to take us to Hoverla. And those were some of the best days of my life, which opened a new chapter of adventure. When I came home from the mountains, I was depressed for two days. It was because I was drawn back to the mountains, where the air, the scenery and the views are completely different. In the mountains there is no commonness, everything plays with its own colors.
It could not last and after three years, I decided to try and switch to a new stronger drug called mountaineering.
Everything became more mature here, the routes were more difficult, the mountains were higher, the dangers were higher... But the scenery here was simply beautiful, with a hotel with a thousand stars overhead. Your values become completely different, and people who surround you, make you stronger.
Together with my beloved we have hitchhiked through more than 30 countries, at altitudes from 430 meters below sea level to 6,962 meters. In each country we found something new, interesting, delightful, and everywhere different.
Now I work as a coordinating consultant for climbs. I am with you from the first call until you return home from the ascent. Trying to make sure that you have only positive impressions. Prior to that I worked as a guide and sales assistant in a tourist outfit store. And based on my experience and practice I can not only advise you on the ascent you are going to, but also pick out your outfit, and advise which equipment to take on one or the other route.
In my free time I like to take part in multibike races, especially daily and higher. When the mileage passes the eighth, ninth decade, your legs do not go, hallucinations occur, and you do not know what resource of your strength is not exhausted yet.
