Recommended for beginners and families with children! First and foremost, this hike is designed for beginners, not athletes. 10 km daily transitions, a midday siesta, warm sea - all this makes the route ideal for a first introduction to hiking life. Bring your kids, they will definitely love it!

Welcome to Cyprus! The estimated group gathering time is 10 AM, but flights to Larnaca aren't always the most convenient, so participants and the guide usually arrive a day earlier. The trip manager will send you detailed information with our recommendations and the meeting point during group preparation. After gathering, we head to Polis - a small coastal town where we'll spend the night in tents at a campsite. Here you can immerse yourself in the local flavor. For example, try a Greek salad at a local café, taste local oranges, sunbathe on the beach, and swim in the sea.
After a beautiful sunrise on the seashore, we will drive to the Akamas Peninsula, where the active part of our Cyprus trek begins. Here we will visit a sacred place where, according to legend, Aphrodite emerged from the water - Aphrodite's Baths. I think it's no coincidence that the goddess of beauty chose this particular area for her earthly existence. We take photos, rest, and move on. The coastline is very beautiful even when walking right by the sea, but it will look even more beautiful from above. A climb awaits us, and the reward will be stunning views of the blue lagoons and rocky cliffs. Having climbed up to the forest, we will walk to the ancient oak of Aphrodite and Adonis.
Akamas is a peninsula in Cyprus that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can calmly walk and rest from people and noise. Just you and nature. This is one of the few places in Cyprus where you can find truly untouched nature, with no crowds of tourists. Walking across the peninsula, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the local flora.
In the afternoon, we will descend to the beach at Lara Cape. Here you will find a beach with stone towers. People come here to make their dreams come true - you need to build a tower of stones while constantly thinking of and picturing your dream in as much detail as possible. When the sea destroys the tower, the wish will come true.
In such a beautiful place, you just want to stay. Today we will walk along a cliff above the deep blue, crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea to the unique Lara Beach. This is one of the few places where Mediterranean green turtles nest. The beach is nestled in a small bay with always clean, warm and calm water, and soft golden sand. Back at camp, we can decorate the beach with our own stone towers and watch a colorful sunset from the terrace by the "Lara" restaurant.
Today we will dedicate to a walk to a local landmark - Avakas Canyon. A special microclimate has formed here - increased humidity and, as a result, a relatively wide variety of plants. The orchids and oleanders are especially beautiful. There are places in the canyon where sunlight doesn't reach, which makes it especially enchanting. This place is simply amazing.
The active part of our wonderful Cyprus trek is coming to an end. Today our path lies along the steep coastline past local houses and gardens with cacti. The contrast of the blue water and the white-orange shore is mesmerizing, and the clarity of the sea and the depth of its blue color is simply irresistible. Well, we will give in to temptation and swim in this crystal-clear water.
We've admired the nature, now it's time to get closer acquainted with the amazing history and culture of Cyprus. We travel by local bus to the city of Paphos. Here there is an entire archaeological zone with catacombs, royal tombs, ancient villas and columns. Walking through these places, you realize how beautiful and diverse our world is.
And so our wonderful hike through Cyprus comes to an end. We've seen as much as possible, enjoyed both the landscapes and the island's cultural heritage, recharged our energy and taken plenty of photos - time to go home. It's hard to believe how many shared emotions we experienced during this exotic hike.

The manager will advise you on gear, help you choose the best flight, and share information about hotels. You make payments and purchases yourself. Depending on weather conditions, group condition and general wishes, the guide has the right to make changes to the route.
Citizens of Ukraine with a biometric passport do not need a visa. For holders of regular Ukrainian passports and passports of other countries with a multi-Schengen visa, an additional visa to Cyprus is not required, but this visa must already have entries into the Schengen area. In other cases, you need to obtain a free pro-visa. To do this, fill out the electronic pro-visa application on the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus. After that, within 5 days you will receive a response by email with the results of processing your application. In case of a positive decision, the letter will contain a link to your pro-visa. The document must be printed, taken with you on the trip and presented at check-in for the flight. Please note that the pro-visa is valid for 90 days, and it starts counting from the moment of issue!

You're probably wondering what we'll be eating on the trip? We'll say right away that you shouldn't worry. Many participants say that they eat better on the trip than at home. The base of the menu consists of simple food - porridges and soups. Don't expect fancy delicacies (although they may happen too).
If there are certain foods you don't eat, be sure to inform your manager so the guide can slightly adjust the menu for you. We also recommend bringing some pocket treats - nuts or sweets. Appetite on the trip is much better than at home.
Please note that the menu presented is approximate. Guides usually have their own signature dishes that they like to treat participants to.

It's no secret that it can get quite hot in Cyprus. But we won't be going during the hottest period - we'll be hiking closer to the end of the velvet season. This is mainly autumn and early spring. During this time, the daytime temperature is around +20-25, and at night it drops to +10-15. Rain is rare, but it's still worth bringing a raincoat.
There will be an opportunity to charge your gadgets during the program. But we still recommend bringing spare batteries or a power bank.
The official currency of Cyprus is the euro. Public transport fares, souvenirs, and small purchases can only be paid for in cash. But in most restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and hotels, you can pay by card. Therefore, we recommend bringing both cash in euros (it's better to exchange your money for euros before the trip) and bank cards. If you didn't have time to exchange money at home, you can do so at the airport, exchange offices, or banks. You may be asked to show your passport for the exchange. The best rate can be found at exchange offices and shops on the streets. We recommend preferring bank services, as they have a fixed exchange rate and you'll protect yourself from receiving counterfeit banknotes. However, keep in mind that banks often have queues, and the working day lasts until noon. If you've arrived in Cyprus and don't have cash with you to pay for the bus, you'll be able to exchange money at the airport. There is an exchange office in the arrivals hall, but the rate there is very unfavorable. If you've arrived in Larnaca, we recommend going up to the second floor to the departure area and exchanging money there (the rate is much better).
The electrical system on the island is similar to the British one, so Cypriot sockets have three holes instead of two. Their shape is not round but rectangular, and plugs from home simply won't fit into the holes. Therefore, we recommend buying a universal adapter for about 1 euro. Adapters are sold in all shops on the island, but you can also buy one before your trip. A universal adapter will be useful not only in Cyprus but also in many other countries.
The most popular purchases in Cyprus are olive products, local Halloumi cheese, Cypriot wine, Cypriot sweets (loukoumi, halva, pourekia, palouzes, honey, jam), carob syrup, coffee, silver, traditional Cypriot lace and embroidery, cosmetics based on natural ingredients, and ceramic products.
The total amount of mandatory expenses not included in the price will be approximately 80 € + flight for the "Basic" package, and 20 € + flight for "Optimal". But we recommend bringing an additional 50-100 € for souvenirs and food at cafes.
