This is the best route for exploring the nature of Montenegro. We won't have to carry heavy backpacks, as we will live in houses during the entire trip.

Please note! There is a sufficient number of steep and steep trails on the route. Those who have a fear of heights should keep this in mind.

We meet in the center of mountain tourism in Montenegro, the town of Zabljak. You can get there by bus from the bus station in Podgorica. The consultant will help you understand how best to get to the lodges. After checking into the lodge and having a little rest after the trip, we will go to see the most famous lake in Durmitor - Black Lake or Crno Ezero, located at an altitude of about 1416 meters. We will spend the evening watching the starry sky reflected in the water.
Please note: In order to take a walk to the lake with your participation, we advise you to arrive in Žabljak before 15:00.
We will walk 5 km in total during the day.
From the campsite, we hike along a forest trail past the Barno and Jablan lakes to the Mala Greda mountain. Then there is an easy climb to the plateau-like peak of Crvena Greda (2164 m). The top offers a view of the entire Durmitor National Park. The descent from the mountain will be steeper than the ascent, but nothing difficult. Then we will visit the Yalovachka cave and the Snake Lake. And along the ruins of old water mills we will return to the house.
Walking distance: ≈ 17 km, altitude difference: +1080/ - 1080 m, time on the trail: ≈ 8 hours
Attention: On this and the following days, the distance and track provided is an example, but may differ depending on which house we start from, whether we use lifts/transfers on those days when it is possible.
Today we will see Durmitor from the opposite side. We suggest taking a walk to the Savin Kuk ski resort, from where we will climb to the peak of the same name using the ski lift. From the top station to the summit, you need to gain about 130 meters and cover a distance of ~800 meters one way. If the weather is good, we will return along the trail and stone scree.

Trekking in Montenegro continues, and today we have the hardest peak. This is the highest mountain of Durmitor - Bobotov Kuk (2523 m). We will drive up a beautiful panoramic road to the Saddle Pass, from which we will begin our ascent to the summit. We are going to use safety ropes to get to the top of the mountain itself - it's not a hard hike, but only the brave can do it. At the top we will leave our wishes in the journal and go back down to the other valley. There will be cars waiting for us on the road to take participants home. Today we'll cover 9 km, the trip will take 5-7 hours.
In the case of bad weather we'll be able to pass the canyon of the Tara river and the Djurdjevic bridge. We'll transfer by bus to the biggest canyon in Europe. Everyone who wants can raft on the Tara River. Also we will see a grandiose construction - Djurdjevic's bridge over the Tara river. The brave ones can take a zipline ride through the canyon along the bridge.
Today we will visit the Tara River Canyon, a natural wonder that impresses with its majesty. It is the deepest canyon in Europe and a real pearl of the Balkans. By the way, the river is famous for its transparency - no wonder it is called the "tear of Europe".
Let's start with an impressive location - the Djurdjevic Bridge, one of the symbols of Montenegro. This majestic five-arch bridge rises 172 meters above the river and was an architectural marvel of its time. Built in the 30s of the XX century, it combines engineering talent and the incredible beauty of nature. For adrenaline junkies, there is an opportunity to fly on a zipline right over the canyon.
After intense photo pauses and a walk across the bridge, you will have a rafting trip on the Tara - the main adventure of the day! Under the guidance of instructors, we will go rafting on a picturesque river. Get ready for a moderate extreme!
We move to Kotor. Due to the mixing of different cultures, the old city center was included in the UNESCO heritage. We swim in the Bay of Kotor. It used to be believed that the southernmost fjord in Europe is located here. But scientists believe that this beautiful bay is nothing more than the remains of a canyon. Nevertheless, this bay is one of the 25 most beautiful bays in the world. Also on this day, a walk to the fortress is planned, which offers a panoramic view of the city.
This is the final day of our Montenegro trek. We swim farewell in the sea and transfer to Podgorica or Tivat. Those who wish can continue their vacation at the sea.

Surely you are wondering what we will eat on a hike? Let's just say that you don't have to worry. Many participants say they eat better on the hike than they do at home. The basis of the menu is a simple meal of cereals and soups. You should not count on gourmet delicacies (although they can be).
If you do not eat any products, be sure to inform the manager so that the guide can slightly adjust the menu for you. We also recommend taking some yummies with you - nuts or sweets. Appetite on a hike is much better than at home.
Please note that the menu shown is indicative only. Guides usually have their signature dishes that they love to pamper participants with. And if you have dishes that you would like to receive on a hike, be sure to tell the manager about it, as the guide may have completely different preferences.

We meet in Podgorica, from where we take a bus to the Zabljak town. It takes about three hours to get there. Since the town is in the mountains, it can be cool here, despite the sun, so warm clothes must be taken! In Zabljak we will stay either in wooden houses near the national park Durmitor or in the town in apartments. Both have several rooms (beds are given, no need to bring sleeping bags), a kitchen where we'll cook and a bathroom. Closer to the date of the hike we will let you know the details of the accommodation.
In Montenegro the main currency is euro, so feel free to take only it and go camping. Neither in stores, nor in supermarkets dollars are accepted, not to mention hryvnas, so it's not necessary to take them. If you have a bank card you can withdraw money from ATMs or bank branches, but it is advisable to find out the fee for cash withdrawal from your bank. Please note that you can only pay with a bank card in large stores! In small stores cards are rarely accepted, so we advise to have most of the money in cash.
In Montenegro you can easily buy a local SIM-card at the airport, in a cell phone shop or even on the street. Buy a SIM-card with favorable tariff for calls within the country and the Internet, which is the best option for tourists, offers the company T-Mobile for only 6 euros (3 euro - SIM-card + 3 euro - tariff plan). If you have a Ukrainian SIM card operator Vodafone, Lifecell or Kyivstar, you can also call your friends and relatives who live in Ukraine, at the rate of your operator.
