Hello everyone. My name is Ira, I am a consultant for Kuluar trekking in Nepal, Iceland, Norway and the Alps.
I went on my first hike in Crimea back in 2006. It was not my own choice, I was signed up there by my mother. And I will remember this hike for the rest of my life. It was very hard for me, I had a terrible pain in all parts of the body, I was dragging a backpack of 20 kgs (as I picked up a bunch of extra things) and I did not understand why I need it all. But after a few days I got into the taste of the hiking life: new acquaintances, interesting stories, drinking by the fire, swimming in icy streams, eating condensed milk secretly at night with the girls in the tent, incredible emotions on the summits while contemplating the beauty, visiting wild places – all this caught my heart, and I realized that I fell in love with the mountains. After that trip I packed a backpack and went hiking every summer, and sometimes I managed to go to 2. After Crimea, I opened Carpathians, then there was Norway, Spain, Montenegro, Turkey, Nepal, and every year I hope to open more mountain regions.
Besides hiking I am interested in skiing and skating, playing guitar and ukulele, and I love to dance a lot. If everyone understands and accepts these hobbies as normal, then about hiking many people ask: Why do you go there? After all it is necessary to drag a backpack, to go with a dirty head for some days, and, probably, it will be necessary to get wet in the rain. I answer: I go for unbelievable emotions, aesthetic pleasure, and for new acquaintances. For me, going camping is like living a little life. On a hike I can completely disconnect from all household cares, from work, I can think about life, just enjoy nature, moments, have fun, listen to the sounds of nature, look at the starry sky and generally reboot.
I'm very happy that the hobby has become my job. It's so rewarding to discover the world of the mountains not only for myself, but for others as well! Every day I tell you about the pleasures of the hike as well as the possible challenges. So that you are as prepared for the trip as possible and have fun going on a hike with Kuluar club.
