Broad Peak (8,051 m) is the twelfth eight-thousandth peak on the planet and the third highest peak in the Karakoram, located in the Gasherbrum massif on the border of Pakistan and China. The name of the mountain is due to the extremely long peak ridge, which reaches more than one and a half kilometers in length.
There are five main peaks on Broad Peak, three of which exceed 8 kilometers in height. We will climb the Main one, which goes to the credit of the Crown of the Earth program. The mountain is southeast of the legendary K-2, the summits are separated by less than 10 kilometers. That is why Broad Peak is often used for acclimatization by climbers preparing for Chogori.
The first successful ascent of Broad Peak was made by an Austrian expedition in 1957. Then the route along the south-west wall was used. Today the route along the western ridge is considered the classic and most frequently used one.
The ascent to Broad Peak is considered one of the easiest and safest in comparison with other eight-thousanders. It has one of the lowest mortality rates and one of the highest success rates. All difficult and steep sections are roped. Nevertheless, do not underestimate this peak. Difficulties start right after leaving the base camp, which is separated from the foot by a massive glacier with constantly changing terrain. The ascent itself is quite steep, especially in the upper part, and requires excellent physical, moral preparation and endurance from the participants.

To book a place in the group you need to make an advance payment of $10,000 by bank transfer to the account of the organizer. The rest is either in dollars in Islamabad or also by bank transfer. In case of cancellation of the ascent less than a month in advance, the prepayment is not refundable.
A visa is required to visit Pakistan. We help with registration, but you will need to submit documents to the embassy yourself.
After climbing Broad Peak, all the peaks of the planet will be available to you. You can go to other eight-thousanders, or try technically difficult peaks of lower altitude.

Climbing Broad Peak is a difficult task even for experienced and strong climbers. You have to be as prepared as possible. You must forget about self-pity and really train hard. It is better to have a training program prescribed by your trainer, or send us a request and we will help you with advice.

On Nanga Parbat temperatures can drop to -50 and below, and winds can blow up to 300 kilometers per hour. The equipment must be appropriate.
