Manaslu (8163 m) or "Mountain of the Spirit" is the eighth highest eight-thousander in the world, located in Nepal. Recently, the popularity of climbing Manaslu began to grow, as it is one of the technically easiest (only Cho Oyu can compete in simplicity) eight-thousanders in the world. And at the same time it is much more budget-friendly than the "Goddess of Turquoise", the ascent to which costs from 25,000 usd. It is ideal for the first eight.
The first ascent of Manaslu was carried out by a Japanese expedition in 1956. To date 10 routes on top of varying complexity were laid. In 1991 the Ukrainian expedition consisting of three climbers – Igor Svergun, Alexei Makarov, Viktor Pastukh – was the first to pass the new route along the South-West Ridge, traversing from the South-East to the North-East face without the use of oxygen cylinders.
On September 26, 2017 the head of the Kuluar – Taras Pozdniy and our guide – Sasha Pavlov climbed to the summit. They walked the classic route without the use of oxygen and sherpas. The video of this ascent can be seen on Taras's YouTube.
The trek to the mountain's base camp goes through Manaslu National Park, and on the approach you can see our main goal from all sides.
Climbing Manaslu is a good option for the low eight-thousanders in preparation for climbing Everest (8848), Lhotse (8516), Makalu (8481), and Cho Oyu (8188).

You must not have any diseases from this list in order to participate in the trek.
Manaslu is the eighth highest eight-thousander. From here you can climb other eight-thousanders, including Everest! Or technically difficult peaks of lower altitude.
You should buy the tickets beforehand, as soon as we confirm your participation in the expedition. There are lot companies flying to Kathmandu: AirArabia, Fly Dubai, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways. You can buy tickets on their website. On boarding you'll need the credit card used to pay for the tickets - don't forget it!

Climbing Manaslu is one of the best options to climb the first eight-thousander in your life (the second option is Cho Oyu). Technically the ascent is not very difficult, but it requires maximum physical and moral preparation from the participants. You should be ready to walk up to 20 hours per day (during climbing) and to stay in hiking conditions for a very long time.
You need to forget about self-pity and really train hard. It is better to have a training program prescribed by your trainer or send a request to us and we will help you with advice.
Previous high-altitude experience is required to participate in the program:
On Manaslu temperatures can drop to -50 and winds blow at 320 kilometers per hour. The equipment must be appropriate.

The price is valid for a group of 3 or more people. For a smaller number or the service of the base camp, the cost may be recalculated.
Important: When using the service of base camp, in the upper camps and at the top you work independently, without the help of the organizers. The cost of participation in the service of base camp is $7500.
To book a place in the group you need to make an advance payment of $5,000 by bank transfer to the account of the Nepali organizer. The rest is either in dollars in Kathmandu or also by bank transfer. In case of cancellation of the ascent less than a month in advance, the prepayment is not refundable.
