Comfortable ascent to Hoverla without tents and with overnight stay in the lodge - it is three days full of adventures: climbing to the highest point of Ukraine, walking along the Dovbush trail, tours to Bukovel, to Trufanets waterfall and Proby waterfall in Yaremche.
On Hoverla we will climb without heavy backpacks, with two nights in a cozy cottage. The house itself is located among the mountains at the foot of Hoverla. After climbing to the highest peak of Ukraine we will visit the village Kvasy to drink mineral water from a natural spring, and walk through the souvenir market in Yaremche :) This program allows you to get acquainted with the main attractions and the most popular tourist spots of the region in three days and to climb the beautiful Hoverla, doing it with the maximum comfort. Teamleaders are people for whom mountains are both a hobby and a profession. With their vast experience, they are happy to open up to you the world of mountains, to do it safely and in a way that makes you fall irrevocably in love with hiking.
The manager will prepare and advise you on their own experience before the program, because all of them have been to Hoverla more than once.
The teamleader will meet you at the train station of Ivano-Frankovsk, and with him you will travel to the mountains in a previously ordered comfortable transport.
We recruit no more than 12 participants per team leader, and if there are a large number of willing participants, we divide them into several independent groups. This is done for the comfort of the participants.
For your first hike you do not need to buy equipment, rent it.

This hike differs from the usual program of the Hoverla and Petros hikes in that the overnight stay will not be in tents, but in a mountain manor at the foot of Hoverla. This is more comfortable variant of the tour, moreover we will get to the peak without heavy backpacks, taking only the most necessary things - snacks for lunch and a rain jacket. And in addition to the ascent to Hoverla we are waiting for some exciting excursions, so you can feel the atmosphere of the Carpathians, to see the most beautiful things in three days!
We meet in the morning at the railway station of Ivano-Frankivsk. We get acquainted, get in a van and set off on our journey! Our first stop will be in Yaremche - we will walk along the path of Dovbush. According to an old legend, Oleksa Dovbush, a "Carpathian Robin Hood", hid his gold and jewelry here in 1730-1740s.
The trail passes through a beautiful pine forest, here and there you can see picturesque scatterings of stones. There are also a couple of large rocks, which offer a great view of the Prut River Canyon.
After taking a few pictures for memory, we go back to the van. We head for the next, no less interesting point of our journey - to the famous resort Bukovel. Did you think that you come here only in winter, just for skiing? We have to pleasantly surprise you - in summer there is lots of different amusements, and the beaches of "Bukovel Sea" are used for sunbathing by tourists in the middle of the mountain :) Let's take a look at the huge "Lake of Youth" in the mountain valley and go up the elevator, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the nearby gorges and mountain ranges. If the weather is good, from the upper station of the elevator we can see our goal for tomorrow - Hoverla! It is interesting to look at it from the side, to assess the scale.
Another interesting place in Bukovel - Ethnopark "Hutsul Land". On its territory there is a skansen (an open-air ethnographic complex), a contact zoo and an art gallery. On the territory of the museum there are unique monuments of wooden architecture of the 19th century. These are old houses that were brought from the farthest corners of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Among them is a unique Hutsul hut. Inside the huts there are items of folk life and works of art, which create a unique atmosphere of that time! It is as if you move 100-200 years ago at once. You can see how cheese is made in the cheese dairy, how the weaving loom of those times works. Ethnopark is interactive, you can see a lot of live, learn about the traditions and life of this region. The zoo will pleasantly surprise you as well :)
After interesting excursions and walks on the bus waiting for us to go through Yablunivsky pass deep into the Carpathian mountains - in the mountain village of Kozmeshchik. Check into a wooden house located on the shore of the river Lazeshchyna at the foot of Hoverla.
Today is a landmark day - the ascent to the highest point of Ukraine - Hoverla Mountain. So we'll wake up early and hit the road! We will need to take only small backpacks, which will hold raincoats, jacket, a bottle of water, personal first aid kit and snacks for lunch. First we'll climb through the spruce forest, and then go out on an open ridge, where we can see all the glory of the beautiful Hoverla. On a nice day on Mt Hoverla it is quite crowded - there are a lot of people from all over Ukraine who want to get to the highest point of their country. And not for nothing - when the weather is nice, you can take a look at the Carpathian mountains from here! The whole Montenegrin ridge is on your palm! In the distance you can see stony Gorgany, rocky Marmaros and even Romanian Rodna mountains. The solemn moment, a photo for the memory :)
Fully enjoying the scenery and sandwiches, we start the descent down. The descent is not complicated and will follow the path of the ascent. In the evening we will share our impressions with you at the dinner table.)
We wake up, have a tasty breakfast and go to the village of Kvasy, known to many. And it is known for the fact that there are several springs with healing mineral water. Let's try some water, and if we want we can take some more. In the same village is not less famous hutsul brewery "Tsypa", where they make craft beer with the unique water from one of the springs :) Not far from Kvasov there is the highest cascading waterfall in the Ukrainian Carpathians - Trufanets. The total height of the waterfall is 36 meters. It falls down in several cascades, along which, if desired, you can climb up. And the beginning of the stream reaches 1700 meters, near the foothills of Mount Bliznitsa.
After enjoying the noise of the mountain stream we take a bus to the town of Yaremche. This relatively small town in the Carpathian mountains has a very rich history. Back in the XVII century, the movement of oprishki, led by Oleksa Dovbush, had its mark in the history of the region. The heyday of Yaremche as a resort began back in 1894. At that time villas were actively built here, and in 1896 the tourist "Club of Yaremche" was created. Even then, work on marking the mountain trails in the vicinity of Yaremche was carried out. We will definitely see one of the visiting cards of the town - the noisy waterfall Proby on the Prut River. Walk around the souvenir market - there are sold a lot of handicrafts. One way or another, all these souvenirs are associated with the history of the Carpathian region.
Closer to the evening we arrive in Ivano-Frankovsk. You can take tickets on the trains, which depart from Ivano-Frankovsk after 18:00.
Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the route.

Unlike climbing Hoverla and Petros hiking with tents, we live in a huts. We stay in the mountain manor (Kozmeshchik), which is located at the foot of Hoverla. The cottages are wooden, comfortable, with shared rooms for 3-5 people. Most beds are doubles. Showers with hot water and a toilet inside. Not far from the house there is an excellent Carpathian banya (on request). The only slight disadvantage - electricity from the generator, which runs on a schedule. But we are real tourists. Does it matter to us?

Surely you're wondering what we're going to eat during the program? Let's tell you right away that you don't need to worry. We order meals from the owners of the house we are going to live in. From previous experience it is very delicious and nutritious. The hostess cooks and everyone is usually very satisfied :) If you don't eat meat, dairy or any other products, be sure to let the manager know in advance. We will find the best option for you. We will take lunch as a snack for the ascent, as well as dried fruit and candied fruits for the resting places.
As always, we recommend that you buy tickets in advance, although there are often vacant seats on trains a week before the start of the hike. You should buy your ticket so that you'll be at the train station in Ivano-Frankovsk by 10 a.m. on the day of the start of the hike. A slight delay is acceptable. Back you buy a ticket for the evening, best of all for 20-22 hours, then you'll have time to walk around Frankovsk and have a drink in one of its pubs. Buy tickets is worth it only after our confirmation of your participation in the hike. You can do this at the ticket offices at the railway station or online on the website "Ukrzaliznytsia"
The meeting place of the group is the waiting room of the Ivano-Frankovsk railway station. The time is determined by the last arriving participant, usually it's 10 am. About 5-7 days before the hike we will send you by e-mail the exact time of the meeting and the contacts of the team leader. Don't forget to check your mail!

When you arrive in Ivano-Frankivsk, go to "10". The food here is extremely tasty, the portions are huge, and the prices are small. If the 10 is busy, you can eat at another pub, too. Sitting down together for a delicious meal and a glass of beer is a great ending to a great outing. With that in mind, it's best to buy your tickets back for the evening - about 20-22 hours.
The program has mandatory additional costs for transfers. Their amount you can check with the manager, as it depends on the cost of fuel and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried porcini mushrooms, souvenirs, and like to have dinner in a restaurant (for example, in the legendary "Ten"). Minimum recommend to take from 300 hryvnias. And the maximum is up to you.
