This program is the next block of the climbing school after the initial level. Its goal is to give new knowledge and skills to participants who already have some climbing experience and understand the basics of moving on rocky terrain. At this level, we will work on movement with natural protection, as well as solving non-standard situations that may arise on a route. Two days full of climbing and new information are guaranteed for you!
The program takes place on the rocks near the city of Korostyshiv (Zhytomyr region). Picturesque places with granite rocks, pine forest and water bodies. Classes are held in a format of up to 3 participants per 1 instructor, the group consists of 2–3 instructors and 6–9 participants.
The program will be useful for people who already have climbing experience and want to improve their level of competent movement on terrain, learn to independently ensure safety on multi-pitch rock routes, want to be more prepared for unforeseen situations and/or are starting to climb independently.
Important! The program has open dates and is designed for weekends. Leave requests with your preferred date options in May-June so that consultants can form groups and offer the best option. It is possible to attend just the school or an "All inclusive" package (accommodation, meals, transfer, etc. – see details in the "What's included" section).
It is also possible to organize the program on any dates convenient for you and/or specifically for your group of friends, not only in Korostyshiv, but also in any rock climbing area in Ukraine that suits you.

The program has been refined several times, we tried to make it as safe, comfortable and educational as possible. 2 days of practice to solve tasks on the rocks and work out different movement techniques. Team leaders will share various "life hacks" for moving on rocks.

Experienced team leaders will tell, show, and explain everything. At the end of the program, they will conduct a test to check and reinforce the knowledge, skills, and abilities gained – all in a positive atmosphere.
We meet in Kyiv (those arriving independently meet us on site). We head to the training location. After a short rest, we begin the sessions. First, we quickly review the basic concepts of the gear we use, how everything is organized on the belay system, usage rules, etc. Then we move on to the main topic of the day – working with natural protection (chocks, specifics of movement on routes with natural protection). There's a midday snack. Afterwards – rules and algorithms for a rope team moving up and down. In the evening, we theoretically go over tomorrow's situations and discuss them.
In the first half of the day, we go over emergency situations and the algorithms for getting out of them. We model scenario-based tasks and solve them practically right on the terrain. There's a midday snack. After that, we have a very important topic – independently organizing rescue operations (so-called small-group rescue operations). We also go over various scenarios and practice techniques. At the end of the sessions, there's a short test to check knowledge and reinforce the material. In the evening, we pack up camp and head home.

If you cancel your participation during the program, the money is non-refundable.
Depending on weather conditions, the group's condition and general wishes, the team leader has the right to make changes to the program. Following the team leader's instructions is mandatory and not subject to discussion.

During the school, participants stay in a tent camp directly in the rock area. Tents for participants under the "All inclusive" package are provided. Personal camping gear (sleeping bag, sleeping mat) must be brought with you. Drinking water is available. There is a field toilet.
The group meeting point is Zhytomyrska metro station (for those who need a transfer from Kyiv), or directly at the program location. Approximately 5–7 days before the program, we will send you the exact meeting time and the team leader's contacts by email. Don't forget to check your email.
During the day – a snack and tea/coffee, in the evening and morning – hot meals and tea/coffee (for the "All inclusive" package), drinking water for all participants. Please don't forget to mention in the form if you don't eat any particular products.
Good weather conditions are one of the most important factors for a successful session. Depending on the weather, the program may change. The health and safety of the group matter most. In any case, dress according to the weather and check the forecast before departure. In case of rain, the sessions will still take place, so dress accordingly.
The total amount of mandatory additional expenses not included in the price will be 0 UAH for the "All inclusive" package. For the "Basic" package – transfer from 200 UAH round trip (by public transport), meals according to your appetite.
