Hello! My name is Vika and I would love to be your travel consultant for the Dolomites, Montenegro, Patagonia, Portugal, Tenerife and the Azores.
Since childhood, I have been striving for travel and discovery. All that was available was to explore the areas around the village where I lived. Alone or with a friend, on foot or by bicycle, in winter or summer - it didn't really matter. The main rule was to go where I hadn't been before. And it made me really happy.
The mountains first happened to me in 2008. A friend from university invited me to go hiking and that was it - I was hooked... I lived from trip to trip. The final day of each hike was a mixture of happiness, gratitude, and a touch of sadness. Everyday life came, and I returned in my mind to those events many times, felt those emotions again, saw those landscapes - it all belonged to me now and it was priceless.
Later, I realized that I wanted to see as much as possible, and I had to look for opportunities. In addition to hiking, there were rafting trips, cave routes, rock and ice climbing, cycling, skiing, diving, half marathons, and discovering new cities and countries.
Falling in love with mountains and traveling changed me, my life, and my way of thinking. Each subsequent ascent to the top added faith in my own abilities and strengthened my desire to move forward. The highest mountains that I managed to climb:
Mountains and traveling are an investment. You invest money and effort, and you get an updated version of yourself every time. The people you meet while traveling often change your life in ways that are hard to predict. To have a chance to win the lottery, you first have to buy a ticket. You never know how traveling will affect you until you try.
