Of all the routes in the Carpathian Mountains that are presented on our website, this is one of the most scenic. After all, the route is designed to cover the most interesting things. We will visit the mountains at a height of 1500 meters, we will see the most beautiful sunrise among the Carpathian peaks, we will visit the legendary Synevyr Lake, many museums. There will be everything that you can expect from a hike in the mountains - overnight stays in tents, climbing to the summits, beautiful scenery, and of course, the friendly atmosphere among like-minded people.
We do not cancel or reschedule groups. If the manager has given permission to buy a ticket, you can buy it with confidence. There will be no cancellation through our fault.
Experienced Kuluar teamleaders will accompany the group on the whole route, will make your journey as memorable and safe as possible!

During the hike you can get acquainted with the history and traditions of local people, the museum-skansen "Old Village", museum "Kolochavska narrow-gauge railway", museum - "Bunker Staher", as well as engineering structures of the defense of World War II - "Arpad Line".

During the day we'll walk 3 km; set the altitude of 300 m, height drop 40 m.
We'll meet in Ivano-Frankovsk before 10:00. We get acquainted and go to the starting point of our route - the National Natural Park "Synevyr". After walking a couple of kilometers along the forest road, we'll find ourselves near one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of the Carpathians - lake Synevyr. It is the largest and deepest lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians! The slender fir trees are reflected in its water surface, and the water itself is crystal clear. The lake is located in the mountains at the height of 989 m, and was formed about 10 thousand years ago. There are three kinds of trout in the lake.
Coming up from the lake by a forest path we will put our tents in a comfortable place near the spring. Tonight you can walk around the big lake all evening, take pictures and just enjoy the beauty.
During the day we will hike 13 km; ascenting 900 m, dropping 770 m.
After a delicious breakfast, we go up into the mountains. From the slopes of Ozernaya mountain Synevyr looks even more magical - among the dense spruce forests there is a real emerald. We will walk along the ridge among the spruce forest and descend to the pass between the ridges Ozerny and Kamianka.
The ascent to Kamyanka Ridge will be smooth and not very difficult. From this ridge in good weather we can see all of the Western Gorgany and most of the Central Gorgany, as well as Borzhava. Before the summit of Kamianka, we will take the marked trail down and stop for the night in the spruce forest on the slope of the ridge.
During the day we'll hike 9.5 km; 330 m altitude, 720 m drop.
We will continue the descent to the Synevyr pass through the slopes of the ridge Kamyanka. After the pass we walk through a very picturesque and low ridge in the direction of the village Synevyr.
From the retransmitter tower we have a view of the entire Kolocha valley and the surrounding ranges.
Descend the red marker down into the village, we cross the Tereblya River on the suspension bridge. It remains a little climb to a comfortable place on the mountain meadows above the village, on the slopes of the ridge Pishkonya. We set up camp, and have a chance to see the magnificent sunset.
During the day we will hike 11 km; climbing 1,080 m, dropping altitude 620 m.
Today we are waiting for great views from one of the most beautiful ranges in the Carpathians - Pishkonya range. There is not much to walk today - you can enjoy the views to the full 360 meters. From Negrovec and Gorb peaks in good weather the Central Gorgany, Krasna hollow can be seen well, Borzhava can be seen in the north-west.
The slopes of the Piskonia range in the season are full of blueberries, and in the north cirque between Mt Negrovets and Mt Gorb there is a small but very beautiful lake.
After Gorb Mountain we will go down to the saddle, from which we have a good view of the steep slopes of the ridge. We will go into the forest on the slopes of Yasnovets Mountain and spend the night there.
During the day we'll hike 12 km; climbing 360 m, dropping 980 m.
Slowly waking up to the singing of forest birds. After breakfast, we traverse along the forest path on the top of Jasnowiec and on the ridge we go to the top of Darwajka. From there we go down to Kolochava, one of the most famous Carpathian villages. In Kolochava there are several museums. The most famous of them are the museum "The Old Village", "Kolochava narrow gauge railway", the museum "Arpad Line".
After a tour of the museum "The Old Village" we take our backpacks and climb the trail another 100 meters high - we'll spend the night in the woods above Kolochava.
We wake up in the spruce forest and have a leisurely breakfast. We share our impressions of the hike.
After breakfast, we go down in the village, and on the chartered transfer to Ivano-Frankovsk. At this point, our intensive six-day itinerary is over. We walked in the mountains, on Synevyr we went to see bears, sunsets and dawns from the mountain range we saw, in Kolochava we walked around the museums :) Filled with emotions and inspiration we returned home!
Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the route.
Carpathians in general is very rainy region, so we must be prepared for anything - take a raincoat for sure! It is better to be safe than to get soaked! Depending on the weather during the day can be both very hot and cool. Most of the camps are high-rise, and even summer evenings and nights can be cool, so don't forget to take a hat and gloves!

As always, we recommend that you buy tickets in advance, although there are often vacant seats on trains a week before the start of the hike. You should buy your ticket so that you'll be at the train station in Ivano-Frankovsk by 10 a.m. on the day of the start of the hike. A slight delay is acceptable. Back you buy a ticket for the evening, best of all for 20-22 hours, then you'll have time to walk around Frankovsk and have a drink in one of its pubs. Buy tickets is worth it only after our confirmation of your participation in the hike. You can do this at the ticket offices at the railway station or online on the website "Ukrzaliznytsia"
The weather in the Carpathians is very changeable, so you should prepare for its surprises in advance. The first thing you should remember is that it rains a lot here, so you should bring a raincoat and a rain cover for your backpack. Second - in the evenings, especially at high-altitude parking lots, it may be cool. Take with you a hat, gloves and jacket.
Surely you are wondering what we will eat on a hike? Let's just say that you don't have to worry. Many participants say they eat better on the hike than they do at home. The basis of the menu is a simple meal of cereals and soups. You should not count on gourmet delicacies (although they can be).
If you do not eat any products, be sure to inform the manager so that the guide can slightly adjust the menu for you. We also recommend taking some yummies with you - nuts or sweets. Appetite on a hike is much better than at home.
Please note that the menu shown is indicative only. Guides usually have their signature dishes that they love to pamper participants with. And if you have dishes that you would like to receive on a hike, be sure to tell the manager about it, as the guide may have completely different preferences.

The program has mandatory additional costs for transfers. Their amount you can check with the manager, as it depends on the cost of fuel and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried porcini mushrooms, souvenirs, and like to have dinner in a restaurant (for example, in the legendary "Ten"). Minimum recommend to take from 300 hryvnias. And the maximum is up to you.
