Welcome to the Carpathians! We are experienced travelers and organizers of hikes, many of us have children - we know from our own experience how to make an interesting hike for kids and parents, taking into account the wishes of everyone :) The tour is ideal for the first acquaintance with simple hiking in the mountains, as well as for more experienced travelers who like comfort and do not want to carry a heavy backpack.
Our tour will begin with a settlement in houses that are separated from others located near the river, a few meters from the spruce forest. There are many double rooms, a playground for young travelers and a gazebo with barbecue for their parents. Every day we go hiking with small backpacks to explore the most beautiful trails and peaks of the Carpathians!
The complexity of the walks to the peaks will increase gradually and during the program we will climb to incredibly beautiful peaks. We use private transfers for convenient transportation to the starting point of the hiking routes. Even a small group is accompanied by two representatives of the Kuluar - a team leader who knows the trails well and can teach children useful things and a team leader who knows about children's psychology and fun. So, it's safe and interesting! The mission of the program is to give your child a positive impression of the mountains so that in a while they will want to go on a full-fledged hike with you.

During the trip, the group lives in houses, in double rooms. Each family has its own room and is independent of each other. There is a playground in the yard and a river and forest a few meters away.
As soon as you step outside our comfortable lodges, you can enjoy the forest. Imagine how your morning coffee will taste by the river!
Two team leaders work with the group, complementing each other and taking care of many needs. This is important in a children's team :)
We will teach children how to pitch tents, make a fire, tie knots, have fun and play games. Children and parents will be pleasantly surprised by the Carpathian region, where our hike will take place. Beech and spruce forests, fancy rocks and huge stones - you just won't have time to get bored!
We carry out all transfers by a custom-made shuttle service that picks us up at the lodges, takes us to the start of the hiking route and waits at the finish line at the specified time. It is as comfortable and time-saving as possible.
We always cook a healthy dinner on the grill or fire! And when hiking, outside the houses, we use modern burners and equipment that provides the whole group with hot drinks :)

The beauty of the scenery depends on the weather. The advantage is that we make most of our trips in different weather conditions, quickly adapting and filling the program with events without ending it early.
Breakfast is served by our chefs, we will wrap up our sandwiches and goodies, and go hiking in the mountains. Today is the day when you want more, more beautiful. And we hope that the forecast shows no clouds in the way of our team!
At about 10:00 am, we will be picked up by a shuttle and head to the Zhenetskyi Huk waterfall. We will walk from the car to the waterfall through the souvenir market and see one of the most popular waterfalls in the region. But it's not the last one during our trip, so we don't hesitate to return to the car and drive a couple more kilometers to the beginning of our mountainous part.
Around 11:30 we will gradually begin to gain altitude to Mount Yahidna, which is 1216 meters high. The mountain is located in the Pokutsko-Bukovyna Mountains, on the Lisnivskyi ridge. For the first kilometers we will walk through the forest, which gradually disappears from the trail, and our group will reach the meadow and Mount Lysniv. This is a recently popular location where there is a kolyba with goodies - you can additionally buy dumplings with vurda or banosh and sit in a gazebo with a panoramic view of the mountains. And for our brave travelers, the meadow has prepared entertainment - a big swing :) After enjoying all the views, we will start descending to be in the nearest village by 17:00.

Today is the day of the most active trekking. The plan is to climb the Kostrych ridge to the Vesnarka meadow, and if our group does not lag behind, to climb the Kostrych peak at 1568m.
So in the morning we will have to move to the Kryvopil pass, where the hike starts. The first kilometer of the ascent will take us to a place known to many as "Insta place". A couple of obligatory photos, another 20 minutes and we are at the farm that produces cheese. Here we will have a rest, listen to local stories, and families will taste the cheeses. Yes, you can take them with you, and they won't argue for the next couple of hours of hiking :) The children will run with goats and see the process of cheese making, but our group will not stay here for long, we are going to the mountains in half an hour!
The trail gradually enters the forest, getting bigger and steeper with each step. If this is your first hike, it may be difficult to quickly adapt to the Carpathian trails. But in a few minutes we will reach the first goal for which we came here - an unsurpassed view of Hoverla, Petros and the Chornohora ridge. Almost all the highest mountains of Ukraine are in front of you! We'll have a rest in the meadow, visit the huts, and head to the highest point of our route, the Kostrych peak. Congratulations to you and congratulations to the children - we have prepared small gifts for the travelers for this achievement! But now we have to go down another trail that will lead the group to the Kryvopil waterfall. It is much smaller than Zhenetskyi Huk and hidden from most tourists. From the waterfall, it's the last kilometer to our minibus, which will take us back to our homes.

After breakfast, we start packing. Most of the participants have purchased tickets for the train from Vorokhta, which leaves the station after 13:00. We will use the time we have to our advantage by visiting the restored trail to the Rudyak Highland Bog, one of the most interesting and valuable in the Carpathians. We will walk along the newly laid trails. Returning to the highway, we will walk to the old narrow-gauge viaduct "Carriage Bridge" where we will take the last photo of our family together and leave in the direction of the station in the village of Vorokhta, where we will be around 12:50.

Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the team leader has the right to make changes to the route.
In general, the Carpathians are a rather rainy region, so you need to be prepared for anything - take a raincoat! It's better to be safe than sorry!

The permissible age for participation in a hike in the Carpathians with children is from 5 years old. It is desirable to have both parents present, but one parent is enough. Children under the age of 15 get a 20% discount.
If your child is 3-4 years old, and you want to instill in him the experience of hiking - you can also join the group, but not all transitions will be comfortable for you, and sometimes you may need to stay in the lodge. The consultant will answer your questions frankly and help you understand all the difficulties of the trip.
The complexity of this route is below average, as the group lives in lodges, and will only have to hike with light backpacks for a short distance, compared to a classic hike. But these are mountains, sometimes a steep gain in altitude, possibly slippery trails and unforeseen changes in the weather. Therefore, please do not have any illusions that it is as easy as a walk in a city park 🙏🏻 But we know that if you are motivated and healthy, the announced walks will bring you pleasure 💚
You will find a complex of three houses, which together have 7 rooms, an attic with a panoramic window, a living room with a kitchen. There are dishes, refrigerators, and microwaves. Most rooms are double, but not all have a bathroom. Those that don't have one have a larger area and other advantages.
