K2 (Chogori, 8,611 m) is the second highest peak on the planet, the northernmost eight-thousandth peak, located in the Karakoram mountain system on the border of Pakistan and China.
In the Balti language, its name means "King of the Mountains. Chogori is also often called the "Wild Mountain" and the "Killer Mountain”. These unkind nicknames are due to the incredibly powerful and harsh appearance of the mountain, as well as the large number of unsuccessful climbs.
Technically, K2 is one of the most difficult peaks on the planet to climb, and it is second only after Annapurna in terms of mortality rate among climbers. It is not only about the mountain's topography, but also its harsh climate that makes it very difficult to climb. Of all the 8,000m peaks, Chogori is the most prone to frequent and severe storms, which makes climbing even more difficult and dangerous.
The first successful ascent of K2 was made by an Italian team led by Ardito Desio in 1954.
The ascent to K2 will be conducted from the Pakistan side along the southeastern ridge - "Abruzzi Rib". This is the most popular ascent route on the summit, which is used in 75% of all climbs.

Climbing K2 is a very difficult task even for very experienced and strong climbers. You have to be as prepared as possible. You must forget about self-pity and really train hard. It is better to have a training program prescribed by your trainer, or send us a request and we will help you with advice.
Previous climbing experience is required to participate in the expedition. The recommended experience is two eight-thousanders.
On Chogori temperatures can drop to -50 and below, and winds can blow at over 300 kilometers per hour. The equipment must be appropriate.

To book a place in the group you need to make an advance payment of $10,000 by bank transfer to the account of the organizer. The rest is either in dollars in Islamabad or also by bank transfer. In case of cancellation of the ascent less than a month in advance, the prepayment is not refundable.
