The program is best suited for those who have already been hiking in the Carpathians, passed popular routes, but want new, interesting and scenic routes in the wilderness.
Here we will ascend the three highest peaks of the three Gorgan ridges, we will visit wild mountain valleys, we will walk along little-known and not very popular trails, and sometimes without any trails at all... And as a reward we will get incredible landscapes, the feeling of wild freedom and warmth of the campfire.
In this tour you will climb to the three highest peaks of the three Gorgan ridges, visit wild mountain meadows, walk little-known and little-walked paths and discover the Carpathians from a completely different perspective.
Kuluar experienced team leaders will accompany the group on the whole route, will make your hike maximum safe and unforgettable!
We recruit no more than 12 participants per team leader, and if there are a large number of willing participants, we divide them into several independent groups. This is done for the comfort of the participants.

The complexity of this program can be classified as medium difficulty. Suitable for participants with a good level of fitness, who already have experience in hiking with tents in the Carpathians. The beauty of the scenery depends on the weather, but the advantage is that we can do most of our hike in different weather conditions.
We meet in Ivano-Frankovsk, near the railway station. Organizing moments, getting the rental equipment and here we are on our way to the village Myslivka, which is hidden among the mountain ranges of the Western Gorgan.
Immediately upon arrival at the start we will be briefed, set up backpacks and lunch. After that, we start burning off the calories we've gained by climbing toward our first peaks, Little and Big Pustoshak. The trail winds among the fabulous Carpathian forest: slender firs, emerald moss, and sometimes comes out on small stone placers - Gorgany - and then dives back into the forest.
For many the first day is the hardest: unusual loads, backpacks full of groceries, and steadily picking up the pace the camper, absorbed by the story of the Carpathian nature. So we secretly come out to the Nemetsky valley - the place of our first overnight stay. The first campfire and the dinner in the campaign, the acquaintance of the participants and the deep sleep under the Carpathian sky...
Distance: 8 km, elevation gain: 750 m; elevation drop: 250 m.
We wake up, have breakfast, admire the nature and little by little pack up the camp. Today we are waiting for the route not with many kilometers, but with tangible drops in altitude. We will climb two peaks, which are the highest in their mountain ranges. The first of them is Gorgan Ilemsky, 1586 m high, from which we can see our second goal - Yayko Ilemsky mountain, 1679 m.
At the top we rest and start descending in the direction of Mshana valley. On the way there will be stone placers and windfalls waiting for us. But these are the Wild Gorgans. Mshana hollow is small and almost completely covered with raspberries, which in the season we will definitely try. Having passed the most part of the ascent to the mountain Yaiko Ilemskoe, we will stop for lunch at a wonderful place - the high-mountain valley of Dolgoe Pole. After gaining strength with the lunch and crystal spring water we move forward. And here we are on the peak! If the weather allows, we can stay here a little longer, soaking eyes with beauty of mountain spaces and catching Carpathian wind in our lungs... After a short descent, we go to an old, long-forgotten raishtok, which in many places can not be seen.
Very few tourists were here, because this path is for true connoisseurs of the wild Carpathians. Picturesque landscapes, untouched high mountain valleys, fabulous unhiked forest... We stay for the night near the mountain spring, we pitch the tents, we cook the wood for the fire - it's another real camping evening! The tired sun sends us its last rays, and we share our impressions with the healing tea, which the nature itself gave us ...

The staff on duty prepares breakfast, the fire crackles, and the scents of woods, smoke, and coffee mingle in the morning air. From the tents, covered with crystal beads of dew, hikers gradually emerge. The morning gathering, which is slowly becoming routine, ends and we are back on our way. The trail becomes more and more inconspicuous, and on the meadows it disappears altogether. You can really feel the wild character of these places. Overcoming kilometer by kilometer, we reach the Solotvinka meadow - a crossroad of trails and directions. Here we will have lunch with a good view of the last peak of the ridge we passed - Sivan Lolinskaya. We will not linger, because we are waiting for the highest point of our hike - Mount Young 1724m. The ascent on the third day is not so frightening. "And as a reward, from the top we will open the stormy waves of the mountain sea, and the unfettered gaze and liberated consciousness will touch the very horizon, which is so lacking in cramped cities..." For the night we will stay near the mountain shelter, which until a few years ago was a forester's hut of local foresters. On the last evening you can spend a little more time by the fire and enjoy the atmosphere of the hike, because tomorrow you don't have to wake up too early...

The morning sun is breaking through the spruces, the camp is waking up, and more and more voices and laughter are being heard... The way today will be only downhill. On the one hand we can be glad that the physical exertion and uncomfortable conditions of the trip are over, but on the other hand, a slight sadness is creeping up... Along the forest paths, forest roads we come out to the first "civilization" - the buildings of Mshana forestry. The transfer is waiting for us, the driver loads our backpacks and asks questions about the trip. Pleasant fatigue, the road to Frankovsk, solemn and tasty conclusion of the hike, which has long been a tradition.

Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the team leader has the right to make changes to the route.
We must be ready for everything - take a raincoat for sure! Also on the ridges and the tops there can be strong winds. Even summer nights can be cold - don't forget to take a hat and gloves!

As always, we recommend that you buy tickets in advance, although there are often vacant seats on trains a week before the start of the hike. You should buy a ticket there so that to be at the railway station of Ivano-Frankovsk before 10 am on the day of the start of the hike. Back you should buy a ticket for the evening, best of all for 20-22 hours, then you'll have more time to walk around Frankovsk. Tickets must be purchased only after our confirmation of your participation in the hike, you can do it at the box offices at the train station or online on the website Ukrzaliznytsia.
Meeting place - Ivano-Frankivsk, 35 Mykhaila Mulik Street. This is next to the Gorgany store. The time is set according to the arrival time of the last participant, usually no later than 10 am. Approximately 7 days before the hike we'll send you e-mail with the exact time of the meeting, and the contact information of the team leader. Don't forget to check your mail!
We live in tents, all overnight stays in the mountains. If you don't know how to pitch a tent - don't worry, the team leader or other members of the group will gladly help you. If you take your own tent to the mountains, please, consult your adviser whether it will be reliable for the Carpathians.
There is mobile communication on most of the application. To recharge your gadgets, you need to take a paverbank. Internet is not available in the mountains.
Take raincoats and warm clothes. The weather in the Carpathians is very changeable, so you should prepare for its surprises in advance. The first thing you should remember is that it rains very often here, so you should definitely take a rain jacket and a rain cover for your backpack. Second - in the evenings, especially at high-altitude parking lots, it may be cool. Bring a hat, gloves, and jacket.
The program has mandatory additional costs for transfers. Their amount you can check with the manager, as it depends on the cost of fuel and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried porcini mushrooms, souvenirs, and sometimes dinners in a restaurant (for example, in the legendary "Ten"). The minimum recommended to have with itself from 300 UAH. And the maximum is up to you.
