The Via Ferrata is a "railroad" equipped with steel cables, bridges, ladders and various auxiliary supports. It's like a rope park, but in real mountains amidst dizzying scenery.

GROUP MEETING IN CORTINA D'AMPEZZO
We get acquainted and transfer by bus to one of the campsites in the valley, which has a high concentration of steep mountains, lakes, Via Ferrata and historical sites. We settle near a mountain river and pitch our tents in the campground.
In the afternoon, there will be a lesson on the technique of traversing Via Ferrata.
We will also walk around the lake of Pianozes (Lago di Pianozes).
This is how the Via Ferrata in the Dolomite Alps with Kuluar begins!
First day of the route. An easy Via Ferrata along the summits of Nuvolau (2575m) and Averau (2648m) awaits you. The group will gradually get used to carabiners, helmet and ropes. You will see incredible views of the Cinque Torri - Five Towers - one of the most popular locations in the Alps.
During the day we will cover 9 km; altitude gain: 726 m, descents the same amount.
Tre Cime di Lavaredo is the hallmark of the Dolomite Alps. The grandiose rock massif of Tre Cime is the most popular destination in the Dolomites and is featured on many local advertising postcards. From Cortina d'Ampezzo we drive up to the rifugio Auronzo (2320 m) and then walk up to the Via Ferrata. This is already a more serious and interesting route, with tunnels and stairs.
The small circle is for those who want a simple route.
Big circle - for people who want extreme, height and complexity. We will choose the route depending on the group.
During the day we will hike 12 km; altitude gain: 781 m, descents the same amount.
An incredibly beautiful day - the trail literally goes under the Cascade di Fanes waterfalls, washing you with waves of spray - freshness on the trail is guaranteed! The trail goes in the middle of the forest above the river through a deep canyon with countless waterfalls.
In a day we will walk 8.5 km; elevation gain: 735 m, same amount of descents.
The only Via Ferrata in the world that runs through the entire three hundred meter walls of the catacombs of the First World War, where the front between Italy and Austria-Hungary took place. Along the route there will be historical installations and interesting information about the events of a century ago.
Today, the highest point of our adventure is the summit of Lagazuoi Piccolo (2778 meters).
During the day we will hike 7 km; altitude gain: 746 m, descent the same amount.
Via Ferrata Sci Club 18, category D*
The Sci Club 18 via ferrata is a challenging route leading from the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo to a steep and demanding ascent up Monte Faloria. The via ferrata is vertical, exposed, and features challenging sections, so it requires good physical fitness and courage.
At the end of the route, we will see the Faloria Rifugio building and the top station of the cable car from Cortina d’Ampezzo. At this stage, we will have two options for the return journey: on foot along the path to the town, or by cable car. The second option allows for more time at the campsite, but incurs a cost – approximately €25 per person for a ticket.
*Completion of a Category D via ferrata depends on the participants’ fitness, weather conditions and their performance on previous routes. The final decision on whether to proceed is made by the team leader on the spot.
If a Category D route proves too difficult for the group or the conditions are unfavourable, it may be replaced with an alternative route, for example, a Category B–C route
Departure day. If you wish, you can independently visit the legendary city on the water - Venice, walk along the streets, go boating and enjoy the cozy Venetian atmosphere
Special equipment is used for the Via Ferrata routes, which has restrictions on maximum weight and size. Participants with a weight of no more than 110 kg. and a waist volume of up to 115 cm. are allowed to participate. This is critical, because your safety depends on it.
Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the itinerary.
If weather conditions do not allow going to the summits, a training session will be held on that day.
You must be free of the diseases on this list to participate in the trek.
On the one hand, rock climbing along a Via Ferrata is an extreme leisure activity - because in any case it involves rocks, heights and increased risks. On the other hand, provided that the participant carefully prepares, carefully follows all the guide’s instructions, behaves carefully and attentively, this adventure will become safe, comfortable and truly unforgettable!

Surely, you are wondering what we will eat on the hike? Let's say right away that you don't need to worry. Many participants say that they eat better while camping than at home. The menu is based on simple meals of cereals and soups. Don't count on gourmet delicacies (although there may be some).
If you do not eat certain foods, be sure to inform the consultant so that the teamleader can slightly adjust the menu for you. We also recommend taking some pocket treats with you - nuts or sweets. The appetite on a hike is much better than at home.
Teamleaders usually have their own signature dishes that they like to pamper participants with.

The camping is located 4 km from the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
During the hike we live in tents. On the campsite there is a hot shower, toilet, washing machines, and a kitchenette (the place where we wash dishes). There are also sockets to recharge your gadgets.
If the teamleader met and even exceeded your expectations, we recommend thanking him with a tip of 20-50 euros per participant. You can also leave a tip online on your team leader’s page.
You can also leave a tip to the consultant if he did something incredible for you (online, on the page).
Tipping is optional, but the team usually gives their best and will appreciate your gratitude.
If you didn’t like the work of a team leader or consultant, of course, you don’t need to leave a tip, but write your comments to us by email or directly to the manager. We will look into it and improve the service
To participate in the program, it is mandatory to take out an insurance policy that will cover extreme sports in Italy up to 3000 m altitude. The insurance policy must be handed over to your consultant a few days before the start of the program. Minimum group for this program: 5 participants. We have calculated the costs for a smaller number, but increased them slightly. So as not to be in the red ourselves.

The total amount of mandatory expenses not included in the program cost is approximately €155: €80 for transfers during the program, €50 for tickets from Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo and back (Venice – Cortina d'Ampezzo – Venice), and €25 for the cable car. In addition to the mandatory expenses, we recommend bringing an extra €50–100 for food or drinks at cafés you’ll come across in the mountains, as well as for souvenirs.
