Hiking across Lake Nesamovyte (1750 м) on the Shpytsi mountains (1863 м) and Rebra mountains (2001 м) runs in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. Teamleaders are people for whom the mountains are both a hobby and a profession. With their vast experience, they will be happy to show you the world of the mountains, do it safely and in such a way that you fall in love with hiking.
The consultants will prepare and advise you before the program on their own experience, because they have all been to the Carpathians many times.
The teamleader will meet you at the Ivano-Frankivsk train station, and with him you will go to the starting point closer to the mountains in the previously ordered comfortable transport.
We recruit no more than 12 participants for a team leader, and if there are numerous participants, we divide them into several independent groups. This is done for the comfort of the participants.

The group meets at the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station, meets the teamleader for the first time, and distributes food. We will start our three-day hike in the Carpathians near the Zaroslyak mountain. After the transfer, we will have a hearty lunch in the forest, near the mountain river Dantsezhyk. Having adjusted our backpacks, we start our way to the alpine lake, gradually gaining altitude. In 3-4 hours, we will reach the goal and set up camp for the night. Incredible views of the mountain lake, tents among the alpine grasses, a camping dinner and conversations under the starry sky.
We will walk about 6.5 km and gain 600 meters of altitude
We wake up at 7:00 in the morning because we have a busy day ahead of us. We have a tasty and hearty breakfast, then pack our tents and set up our backpacks. First, we will climb the ridge and head to Mount Ribs (2002 meters above sea level). At the top, we will leave our backpacks and walk without them (radially). We will admire the incredible views of the highest Ukrainian mountains and neighboring ridges. After that, we will go back down to our backpacks and go to a unique place in our Carpathians - Mt. Shpytsi. Everyone will be able to take incredible photos among the gigantic, monolithic rocks and capture what they see in their memory. Then we will overcome a steep descent into the backstage of the Kizi Valley for a lunch break. After eating, we will continue our way to the place of overnight stay through Dovbushova krynytsia. We will spend the night under the Maryshevska mountain, near the ruins of an ancient tourist shelter. Dinner on the campfire, gatherings and funny stories.
We will walk about 10 km, gain 420 m and lose 830 m of altitude.
Today is a lazy morning, because we have to go through the Maryshevska massif and descend to the final part. Only 5 kilometers of descent. But there is no need to be sad, because we will have new views of Mount Hoverla and part of the Montenegrin ridge. After having lunch at the end point on the banks of the Prut River, we will load our backpacks onto the bus and head to Ivano-Frankivsk.
The distance is 5 km, we will gain 100 m and lose 340 m of altitude
Depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the route.
In general, the Carpathians are a rather rainy region, so you need to be prepared for anything - take a raincoat! It's better to be safe than sorry!
You can join our Hoverla climbing tours from any city of Ukraine. The meeting takes place at the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk, so it will not be difficult for you to get there. It will be especially convenient for residents of big cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa. The meeting time of the groups is set taking into account the arrival time of trains from the main destinations. So feel free to apply for climbing Hoverla, no matter what city you are in!

We rated the difficulty of this route as medium, as it is a three-day hike with backpacks and tents, long transitions with a gain in altitude.
Feature: many other tourists on the first night. However, during the trekking and the second night, we will be almost alone with the Carpathians.
As always, we recommend buying tickets in advance, although there are often still seats available on trains a week before the start of the hike. You need to buy a ticket so that you can be at the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station by 10 am on the day of the hike start. A slight delay is acceptable. For the return trip, buy a ticket for the evening, preferably for 20–22 hours, so you will have time to walk around Frankivsk. You should buy tickets only after we confirm your participation in the hike, you can do it at the ticket office at the railway station or online on the Ukrzaliznytsia website.
The meeting place for the group is the waiting room of the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station. The time is set according to the last participant to arrive, usually 10 am. Approximately 5–7 days before the hike, we will send you the exact time of the meeting and the team leader's contacts by mail. Don't forget to check your mail!
The weather in the Carpathians is very changeable, so you need to prepare for its surprises in advance. The first thing to remember is that rain is not uncommon here, so be sure to bring a raincoat and a rain cover for your backpack. Second, it can be cool in the evenings, especially at high-rise parking lots. Take a hat, gloves and a jacket with you.
You're probably wondering what we're going to eat on the trip. We can tell you right away that you don't need to worry. Many participants say that they eat better on a hike than at home. The menu is based on simple food from cereals and soups. Do not count on gourmet delicacies (although they may be available).
If you don't eat any foods, be sure to let the teamleader know so that the team leader can adjust the menu a little for you. Also, we recommend taking some pocket treats with you - nuts or sweets. The appetite in a hike is much better than at home.
Please note that the presented menu is approximate. Team leaders usually have their own specialties that they like to pamper the participants with.

One of the charms of a hike in the Carpathians is the abundance of berries and mushrooms. But you need to be careful! Before you eat any of the berries, you should always ask the team leader if they are edible. The most delicious and popular berries are undoubtedly blueberries and raspberries, but you can also eat lingonberries, blueberries and blackberries.
There are a lot of mushrooms in the Carpathians and they can often diversify your diet. We recommend taking only white ones and cooking them well. Ask your instructor about the possibility of diluting your diet with mushrooms. If you have a weak stomach, you should not eat mushrooms.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, go to the 10th.The food here is extremely tasty, the portions are huge, and the prices are low. If 10 is busy, you can eat in another pub. Sitting together for a delicious meal and a glass of beer is a great end to a great hike. Keeping this in mind, it is better to buy return tickets for the evening - for 20–22 hours.
The program provides for mandatory additional costs for transfers. You can check the amount with a consultant, as it depends on the cost of fuel and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried porcini mushrooms, souvenirs, and sometimes have dinner in a restaurant. We recommend bringing at least 600 UAH with you. The maximum is up to you.
