We invite you to spend a weekend in the Gorgany Mountains. We will hike to the highest peaks of Gorgany, Syvuli, and the Ruschyna mountain pasture to see the crocuses in bloom and visit the Peklo ravine, which is associated with many stories.
A two-day trip, Saturday and Sunday. Accommodation in a cottage, a visit to the sauna, and if the evening is warm, we will spend it on the lawn with a bonfire, treats and interesting stories in the company of new friends.
We live in a cosy house surrounded by mountains and rivers. Even just coming to this small village, from where we set off into the mountains, is worth the trip. There are places to walk around and enjoy nature. The house has its own sauna, which we heat up after a day in the mountains. Next to the house is a wonderful recreation area with several gazebos and a place for a bonfire with comfortable benches. Even in spring, we can gather here for evening gatherings under the open sky.
The price includes all basic expenses: accommodation in a cottage, dinner, breakfast, snacks on the first and second days, local transfer from the cottage to the mountains, visiting a sauna and sitting by the fire, weather permitting. You will enjoy not only the views of the Carpathians, but also a cosy atmosphere. Please note: transfers from Ivano-Frankivsk to the cottage and from the cottage to Ivano-Frankivsk are paid separately.

We meet in Ivano-Frankivsk. We get acquainted and all together take a bus to the small village of Osmoloda.
The first day of our programme consists of short walks near the cottage, and there is plenty to see. Nearby, there is a confluence of two rivers, a suspension bridge, and a campsite where, weather permitting, our group can sit around the campfire to socialise and get to know each other.
In the evening, we go to the bathhouse right in our cottage and sit down to a delicious dinner. The team leader will hold a briefing, and you will be interested to find out what kind of mountain crossing awaits you tomorrow.
Today will be a busy day. The morning begins with breakfast and a local transfer from the cottage to the highest peaks of the Gorgan Mountains – Syvuli.
We will not be visiting Syvulya in this programme. Our goal is to reach one of the most attractive mountain pastures in the Carpathians, the Ruschyna mountain pasture. It often serves as a camp before climbing Syvulya, and in April, spring flowers – crocuses – bloom there in abundance.
Not far from the Ruschyna mountain pasture, there is a well-known location with an eloquent name and a complicated history – the Hell Ravine. It offers a magnificent panorama of the Carpathians. This is the panorama you see in our main photo.
At around 4 p.m., the group returns to the cottage for another small snack, the second one of the day. We will have the first snack during the hike, and the second one before changing transport.
When we arrive at the cottage, we transfer our belongings to the minibus and head towards Ivano-Frankivsk. It is advisable to buy train tickets after 9 p.m. It is better to go with your new friends to one of the restaurants in Ivano-Frankivsk and wait for the train calmly than to rush to catch an earlier train, which you will most likely miss.

Photos from the route are illustrative. They may show harsher or simpler conditions, be taken in a different season, and help you form an idea of what to expect. During the trip, weather and other natural conditions may affect your perception and differ from what is presented on the website.
Crocuses bloom in the Carpathians every spring, but their number and flowering period depend on natural conditions. We cannot guarantee that the fields will be covered with a dense purple carpet during the hike. In some years, crocuses bloom profusely, in others less so, and even on different days the situation may vary.
Depending on weather conditions, the condition of the group and general preferences, the team leader has the right to make changes to the route. Compliance with instructions is mandatory.
The house we invite you to is located in a small, very cosy village called Osmoloda. It can accommodate 11 people - 10 participants and 1 team leader.
On the first floor, there is a dressing room, a common area (living room) with a fireplace, and a sauna.
The rooms are on the second floor. Most of them are triple rooms with three separate mattresses. There are two family rooms with double mattresses. We try to take registrations into account and ensure that each independent participant has a separate bed. However, sometimes, when there are 10 strangers in one group, consultants may ask for permission to share rooms.

You are probably wondering what we will be eating during the programme. Let us reassure you that there is no need to worry. We order meals from the owners of the cottage where we will be staying. Based on previous experience, the food is very tasty and nutritious. The hostess does the cooking, and everyone is usually very happy with the food :) If you do not eat meat, dairy or any other products, be sure to inform the consultant in advance. We will find the best option for you. We will take lunch with us in the form of snacks, as well as dried fruit and candied fruit for breaks.
In this programme, participants do not incur any additional food costs. The price includes dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second day. During mountain trips, snacks are provided by the team leader.
As always, we recommend buying tickets in advance, although there are often still seats available on trains a week before the start of the trip. You need to buy a ticket so that you are at the Frankivsk railway station by 10 a.m. on the day the trip starts. A slight delay is acceptable. For the return trip, buy a ticket for the evening, preferably after 10 p.m. Be sure to book your tickets in advance, as the number of tickets and trains is limited, and travelling by bus is not comfortable. If your plans change, you can always return your ticket online or offline. But you will definitely not miss the opportunity to relax in the mountains.
The group will meet in Ivano-Frankivsk. The time will be set based on the last participant to arrive, usually at 10 a.m. Approximately 5-7 days before the trip, we will send the exact meeting time and the team leader's contact details to the group chat.
There will be mobile phone coverage and internet access on part of the route, but not on the rest. You can charge your mobile phones and cameras in the cottage in the evening. When staying in the mountain cottage, the signal is weak (Kyivstar). Allow yourself a couple of evenings off from the internet :)
The programme provides for mandatory additional transfer costs. You can check the amount with a consultant, as it depends on fuel prices and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried white mushrooms and souvenirs. We recommend having at least 1,000 UAH with you. The maximum amount is up to you.
