Nepal is the only Hindu kingdom in the world, located on the slopes of the majestic Himalayas, between two ancient civilizations – China and India. This is a country of ancient culture and exoticism, snow-capped peaks and numerous pagodas, rhododendrons and elephants, luxurious palaces and ancient gods, rich traditions and an amazing blend of Buddhism and Hinduism. The capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, is a true treasury and center of ancient Hindu and Buddhist art. The number of temples equals the number of houses, and there are as many revered gods as there are local residents. From the Pokhara valley, you can admire five peaks of the Annapurna range. Before exploring Pokhara, we will enjoy a three-hour rafting trip down the mountain river Trishuli. We will also not overlook Chitwan National Park – an incredibly beautiful place where you can see various exotic animals and ride elephants. This adventure is not sports-oriented and does not require special preparation, so it is accessible to everyone of any age.
To get acquainted with Nepal, you can choose an easy trekking program, such as the trek to Annapurna or the Mardi Himal trek. Here you will have enough time for sightseeing tours around the capital, enjoying the highest peaks during the trek, and relaxing in Pokhara after the mountains. The landscapes of these treks are as diverse as possible and are perfectly suited for a first trip to the Himalayas. We do not cancel or postpone groups. If the manager has given the go-ahead to buy a ticket, you can safely purchase it. The program will not be canceled through our fault.

The bustling city of Kathmandu, living its own unique life, awaits us. From the airport we take a taxi and head to check in at a local hotel. Once we've unpacked and showered, it's time to explore Kathmandu! The ancient Durbar Square with its famous Royal Palace will leave an unforgettable impression. After a relatively brief sightseeing tour, we'll visit souvenir shops and stop for a bite at one of the many local restaurants with live music.
We leave Kathmandu behind. We'll come back, but now our first real adventure awaits - a three-hour rafting trip on the mountain Trishuli River. After a briefing, everyone will put on life jackets and board the raft with an instructor whose commands must be followed precisely. We'll not only paddle hard but also admire the enchanting views of the canyon. After the river trip, we head to the big city of Pokhara. If there's time and desire, we'll take a boat ride on the beautiful Phewa Lake and visit the island temple of Barahi. An alternative option is a walk around the beautiful old town of Pokhara.
Early in the morning we board a bus and head toward the village of Nayapul. From there we continue on foot. If desired, you can hire a porter and walk without carrying anything, keeping only water and a camera in a small backpack. We'll slowly climb uphill and by the afternoon arrive at the village of Ulleri, located at an altitude of 2020 m. We'll spend the night here.
We head toward the village of Ghorepani, located at an altitude of 2860 meters. We'll walk along a picturesque path with countless steps. As we gain altitude, the forest will become increasingly unusual, and soon, wherever you look, only rhododendrons will proudly rise around us. We'll spend the night at a cozy lodge in Ghorepani with a stunning view of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan eight-thousanders.
Today we need to wake up before dawn, put on warm clothes, and climb for a little over half an hour to the Poon Hill viewpoint to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life. In the soft morning light, the majestic peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Machapuchare, and Nilgiri will rise before us. A magnificent sight! We'll admire the views, soak up positive energy from the sun, and descend to the lodge where a delicious breakfast awaits. After breakfast, we descend to the village of Tadapani, located at an altitude of 2630 m. We'll stay overnight at a lodge again.
For most of today's journey, we'll enjoy views of the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna South. Along a beautiful trail, we'll descend to the village of Jhinu to the hot springs. We'll be able to relax in one of three cozy hot water springs located on the bank of the mountain river Modi Khola. On the other side of the river, lush jungle thickets grow. Here you can often see large troops of monkeys cheerfully jumping through the trees.
We leisurely descend to the already familiar village of Nayapul. After a short walk through the village, we head to the intriguing city of Pokhara, where we'll spend the night.
By Nepali standards, Pokhara is a fairly large city with many sights unusual for a European visitor. While strolling, we'll see the amazing Devi's Fall, whose water seems to disappear into nowhere, visit the temple of the goddess Bhagwati, and the old bazaar. Besides these famous sites, Pokhara has 2 museums - the Pokhara Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Adventure enthusiasts can take a paragliding flight and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city. In the evening, a pleasant boat ride along the wonderful Phewa Lake awaits us, along with a short excursion to Dragon Island to see the Barahi Temple.
In the morning, we'll head closer to India - to the tropical forests of Chitwan. Nature here is wild and hasn't yet taken on the shape of a modern, human-tended park. In Chitwan, you can encounter various animals, primarily tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, deer, wild boars, and of course, Indian elephants. A huge number of brightly colored local birds will leave no one indifferent! We'll settle into one of the hotels on the riverbank and have dinner while enjoying the view of the jungle.
Let's enjoy some relaxation in Chitwan! After breakfast, we'll go canoeing on a river teeming with crocodiles. If you don't decide to swim, the crocodiles won't bother you. After getting acquainted with the crocodiles and a delicious lunch, an elephant ride awaits us! Several hours riding on the back of an elephant through the dense jungle will leave an unforgettable impression!
We leave the amazing Chitwan and head to the glorious city of Kathmandu. First, we'll stock up on souvenirs at local shops and stores. We'll check into a hotel and have dinner at a cozy restaurant with live music.
In Kathmandu, the two largest religions of the world - Buddhism and Hinduism - peacefully coexist. Here we'll be able to see both Buddhist and Hindu temples. First, we'll visit one of the most revered Buddhist shrines, Swayambhunath. Here you'll find a large stupa, a wonderful viewpoint, and plenty of playful monkeys. It's no wonder this place is also called the Monkey Temple. After viewing the Monkey Temple, we'll head to the largest stupa, Boudhanath. We'll walk around it several times and then continue to the large complex of ancient Hindu temples, Pashupatinath. Cremations of the deceased are still held at this site. After visiting the shrine, we'll go to the legendary suburb of Kathmandu - the unusual Patan.
Our dizzying journey through Nepal is coming to an end. We take a farewell glance at the country that gave us the joy of discovery and countless adventures, and head to the airport. We fly home, dreaming of returning to Nepal at least once more. See you again!
To reserve a spot in the group, you need to make a deposit of $100. These funds are needed to arrange permits and book hotels. If you cancel your participation, the money is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another participant or kept on your "account" for future trips. The remaining cost of the trip can be paid by card transfer (no later than a week before the start) or given to the instructor on the first day of the trip. If you leave the route early, the funds are non-refundable.

A visa to Nepal is issued right at the border; the cost of a 15-day visa is $30. Detailed instructions on how to obtain it here>>. To get the visa, you only need a valid foreign passport, valid for more than 6 months from the date of the return flight. To participate in the trip, you must not have any illnesses incompatible with active tourism: list here.
Tickets should be purchased in advance, as soon as we confirm your participation in the trek. The most convenient airlines are AirArabia and FlyDubai, and it's best to buy tickets on their websites. Please note that baggage is not included in the price and you will need to add 20 kg when purchasing. During boarding, you will need the credit card used to pay for the tickets - don't forget it! Round-trip ticket prices range from $500 - $700.

In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, we will stay in three-star hotels with all amenities. Standard accommodation is in double and triple rooms. Individual accommodation is possible for an additional $200 for the entire route. During the hiking trek, we stay in lodges - these are shelters for tourists equipped with a shared shower and toilet, and you can also order food there. Sometimes there is Wi-Fi. The rooms are very simple and small. Often the only furniture is beds.
Most of the trek will take place at low altitudes, which means there's no need to worry about large temperature fluctuations. During the day, the temperature will be around +25 degrees, and at night it may drop to +10. In Ghorepani and during other high-altitude overnight stays, frost is possible. Rain is rare. Typical weather for mountain regions is a clear morning and a cloudy evening.
The country's currency is the Nepalese rupee. The exchange rate is approximately 100 rupees to 1 dollar. Notably, Nepalis are quite careless with paper money - stapling a stack of rupees is completely normal. All expenses along the route are only in rupees. Before the trek, exchange approximately $400-500 for them. Bank cards are only accepted at certain places in Kathmandu, so be sure to bring cash. Also, there are significant restrictions on ATM cash withdrawals, and the commission for this is quite steep. It's best to buy souvenirs at the stalls of Thamel (the tourist district of Kathmandu) rather than at sightseeing tours. Always haggle with Nepalis, sometimes you can lower the price several times over.
The total amount of mandatory expenses not included in the price is approximately $220 + airfare. If desired, you can hire a porter, which will be needed for 5 days - this is an additional $50-75. We recommend bringing a few hundred dollars extra for reserve and souvenirs.
