During the whole trip, our group will travel in our own car and live in different parts of the island in comfortable conditions in houses, apartments and hostels (depending on the season).
You can come with a suitcase - you don't need a big backpack - just a small one, in which you will take water, a camera and some goodies for the daytime hikes.

We will not leave out any of the island's attractions, whether tourist or non-tourist, including the Teide and Pico Viejo volcanoes, the Masca Gorge, the Cave of the Winds, and more.

You will be accompanied by a professional photographer and an experienced mountain team leader with 10 years of experience in trekking in the Canary Islands, who knows all the corners of Tenerife. Languages of communication are Ukrainian and English.

Our tour is partly a car tour, partly a hiking tour, because we travel around the island in our own car, which we always have access to, but we also do a lot of walking in the mountains, going on so-called radial hikes almost every day.
You can arrive with a suitcase - you don't need a big backpack - just a small one with water, a camera, and some snacks for the day's hikes.
We do not cancel or reschedule groups. If the consultant gave you the go-ahead to buy a ticket, you can buy it. The program will not be canceled through our fault.

Group gathering during the day. It is better to fly to the South airport, as it is closer, but you can also fly to the North airport; from there, a convenient and inexpensive transfer is available to the South.
The team leader will pick you up from the South airport in a comfortable car, which will be with us throughout the program. The car will always have a supply of water and light snacks, and you can keep additional items there so that you don’t have to carry everything in your backpack.
Today, we will enjoy a beach vacation with warm natural stone pools on the coast. We will also take a walk in the town of Los Gigantes and go on a small hike through the water tunnels along the rocks of Los Gigantes.
Dinner will be at a fish restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, where we will taste fresh seafood paired with local wine.
In the morning, we will first take a steep serpentine taxi ride to the ancient town of Santiago del Teide, which offers a magnificent view of the majestic Teide volcano. Then, we will descend via an equally steep serpentine road to the village of Masca and embark on a day hike through the famous gorge of the same name, where, according to legend, pirates hid their treasures. The hike will end at Masca Beach, where we will be picked up by a water taxi and returned to Los Gigantes. This transfer is not only convenient but also gives you the opportunity to enjoy a scenic boat trip.
Afterwards (depending on the weather and your preferences), we will either refresh ourselves with drinks and have lunch at the port or take a short drive to the viewpoints in the Teno mountain range. We can stop at one of the campsites and have a picnic under the palm trees.
We’ll end the day at an areperia, a local restaurant specializing in the famous dish arepas (corn tortillas with various fillings). Finally, we’ll enjoy a bottle of wine on the beach as the sun sets into the ocean.
Travel by car: 40–80 km.
Hiking: 7 km with an elevation difference of 750 m.
Boat trip: 20–30 minutes
We will drive to the center of the island, gradually ascending from 0 to 2,000 meters with stunning views, until we reach the very heart of Tenerife—the Las Cañadas caldera, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful geological landscapes on our planet. This huge 16-by-11-kilometer volcanic valley was formed through the gradual geological erosion of a giant ancient volcano that stood here hundreds of thousands of years ago. Now, in the middle of the caldera stands the main volcano of the Canary Islands and the highest point in Spain, Mount Teide (3,715 meters).
In such a remarkable location, it’s impossible not to discuss the history of our planet’s formation, so we will have a small lecture on volcanology over a cup of aromatic coffee in the only cafe in the caldera, offering views of Teide and the unique rock formations of Roques de García. Afterward, we will visit the local interactive volcanology museum and botanical garden.
We’ll also take a walk to the island’s third-highest mountain, Guajara, to see Teide from an altitude of 2,718 meters and capture beautiful photos with it as the backdrop.
Travel by car: 60 km.
Hiking: about 10 km (6.2 km with an elevation gain of 660 m for the ascent, plus 4.2 km with an elevation drop of 600 m for the descent).
Today, we return to the heart of the island to explore the slopes of Teide. It’s not too challenging, as we’ll use the cable car to reach the pre-summit zone, where we can admire the Teide cone up close. We’ll also take a mini-hike to the second-highest volcano on the island, Pico Viejo (3,135 m), which has an extraordinary 720-meter diameter crater that you can peer into.
Walking through the volcanic landscapes is completely safe—experts estimate the probability of an eruption in the next 50 years at just 40%. The volcanoes are currently dormant, and only fumaroles—cracks near the top of Teide—remind us of their potential activity, emitting steam and the smell of sulfur. Both craters are equipped with devices that monitor geological activity 24/7 and will provide about two weeks' warning in case of a possible earthquake or eruption.
If we have the energy and desire, we can also visit the local solar observatory, which is run by the Canarian Institute of Astrophysics.
For dinner, we will visit one of the restaurants serving perhaps the most quintessential Canarian dish—goat stewed in red wine.

Hiking: about 9 km with an elevation loss of 1395 m for the descent.
Yes, Tenerife is not just like the planet Mars hidden in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. In the north of the island, there are dense, relict subtropical jungles that once covered all of Europe 2 million years ago. This green "island within an island" is home not only to rare laurel and juniper trees but also to many small villages, some of which have existed since the 17th century, as well as some of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
We will explore the opposite coast of the island, which faces not Africa, but the open ocean. The vegetation and microclimate here are entirely different. In the Anaga mountain range, you’ll feel as though we’ve crossed an invisible border and found ourselves on a completely different island. Only the giant silhouette of Teide on the horizon reminds us that we’re still in Tenerife.
We will spend the first half of the day visiting local forests and picturesque villages and taking a short hike around the famous "place of power"—Mount Taborno. This mountain is one of the symbols of Anaga and has attracted visitors for centuries with its unusual silhouette and breathtaking views of the ocean from steep cliffs.
After lunch at a non-touristy French gourmet restaurant, which is reservation-only (but quite affordable), we’ll head to one of the most beautiful and famous beaches on the island—Benijo.

Hiking: about 3 km.
Our main destination today is the Cave of the Winds, often referred to as a "natural jewel." It is a unique lava tube, the fifth longest in the world (18 kilometers as of today), formed 27,000 years ago. Similar caves may serve as humanity's first shelters on the Moon and Mars. We will visit a section of the cave that is open to the public and listen to an engaging lecture on the history and formation of such geological wonders.
We’ll continue with a short hike in the same region around the Arenas Negras volcano, known for its striking black-and-white landscape. Its last eruption, in 1706, is often called the "Canary Pompeii," so we will be walking on black volcanic ash.
After the hike, we’ll organize a proper volcanic barbecue using lava ovens.
Travel by car: 120 km.
Hiking: about 5 km.
Depending on the time of the group’s flight home, we will spend part of the day at one of the beaches we haven’t yet visited, saying our goodbyes to the ocean, and then head to the airport.
Alternatively, you can extend your stay on the island for a few more days to enjoy activities such as rock climbing, canyoning, paragliding, surfing, and more.
The team leader has the right to make changes to the route depending on the weather conditions and general wishes of the group.
To visit Spain, Ukrainian citizens need to have a biometric passport. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip.
To participate in the trek, you must not have any diseases from this list.
* Important! Please note that the Spanish government is very attentive to the safety of visitors to the Teide National Park, avoiding any risks. Therefore, if there is snow in the mountains (very rare) or strong winds (more common), the passage to the top of Teide and the cable car may be closed. In this case, we will change the program and continue the caldera hike to allow you to enjoy the surroundings of the volcano as much as possible, or reschedule the hike for another day.

This tour combines car travel and hiking. We’ll travel around the island in our own vehicle, which will always be available to us, but we’ll also engage in plenty of walking in the mountains—embarking on so-called radial hikes almost every day.
The hiking level is not difficult and is suitable for beginners and families with teenage children, provided they are in good physical condition. The route is flexible, allowing for adjustments based on the group's preferences, whether to make it easier or slightly more challenging. Our team leader will assist with these adjustments.
Accommodation is provided exclusively in comfortable houses with all modern amenities—no tents involved.
Tenerife’s climate is extremely mild and pleasant, with an average daytime temperature of +20°C in winter and +30°C in summer along the coast. In the mountains, temperatures are significantly lower. In the caldera at 2,000 meters, it’s around +5°C in winter and +15°C in summer. On Teide Peak at 3,715 meters, temperatures drop to 0°C in winter and +5°C in summer, which can feel colder due to the wind.
Make sure to bring and wear appropriate clothing to stay comfortable and fully enjoy your adventure!
Atlantic Weekend: Spend time on the ocean with activities like surfing, bodyboarding, scuba diving, or sailing. You can take lessons and rent equipment in both the South and North of the island.
Gastro Weekend: Visit a farmers' market—each municipality has its own, offering local vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, wines, honey, homemade delicacies, and sometimes souvenirs. These markets are usually open on Saturdays and Sundays. You can also enjoy a good cup of coffee and chat with locals, though English is not commonly spoken outside tourist areas. Knowing Spanish will enhance your experience.
Rocky Weekend: Try rock climbing with various routes available for different skill levels. There are rental offices on the island, but it’s advisable to bring your own climbing shoes.
Barranquismo: We can help you organize "barranquismo," a popular local canyoning activity for adventurous tourists.
Heavenly Weekend: Experience paragliding, a popular activity on the island, offering a unique view of the landscape.
Starry Weekend: Consider a tour of a local observatory during the day and return to the caldera at night for stargazing through a telescope.
Photo Weekend: Capture a professional photoshoot as a souvenir in any of the island's beautiful locations.
Travel to Another Canary Island: Take a ferry or a small plane with Binter to explore other islands in the archipelago.
Breakfasts are included in the program price, while lunches and dinners will mostly be enjoyed in cafes and restaurants. Two lunches during the program will be in the mountains, where the team leader will provide delicious picnic-style snacks. For the farewell dinner on the penultimate day, we will have a volcanic barbecue!
The Canaries are known for their incredibly tasty vegetables grown in volcanic soil, unique wines, grilled fish, goat cooked in wine, and subtropical fruits such as mango, avocado, nispero, and prickly pear cactus.
We also recommend bringing some of your favorite snacks to enjoy on the go during the hikes.
