A trip from north to south of Norway to the iconic locations of Norway - the famous three Trolltunga, Preikestolen and Kjeragbolten - will take place in a comfortable Kuluar car. We are planning to show you the modern Viking homeland, where only one thing remains unchanged over time: we will see the perfect Norwegian nature as it was seen by the Vikings thousands of years ago. We will feel the moment when everything around us is new and interesting, go for long walks and enjoy life. Among the announcements of Kuluar is the famous hike to the Troll's Tongue - a route for those who see themselves in daily trekking. And if you want to do more in a short time, explore half the country and enjoy local food - a road trip is for you!
Depending on the date, the trip will start from one of the airports:
- 05.08.24 - start from Stavanger and transfer to Bergen;
- 14.08.24 - start from Bergen and transfer to Stavanger.
All impressions and locations are saved.
The travel distance is about 720 kilometers in 8 days, and unnecessary kilometers, such as moving from Oslo, have been removed. More time for hiking, less time in the car!
We travel in a modern 9-seater multivan, spend the night in tents on the territory of comfortable campsites with hot showers and kitchens.
We spend one night near the Troll's Tongue. This will allow you to avoid long lines and enjoy the views at sunset and sunrise. New avatars are guaranteed!
The group is exceptionally small - 8 participants! Every day we will see several breathtaking views - waterfalls, fjords, and Norwegian mountains around us. The pace of the program with a small group is comfortable, we are not in a hurry, but have plenty of time to walk around the locations.

We do not cancel or reschedule groups. If you have been approved for a ticket, you can buy it. The program will not be canceled through our fault.

Today we arrive in Bergen, the second-largest city in Norway, the largest city in its western part. The city occupies most of the peninsula of the same name in the North Sea, from which it is protected by the islands of Askey, Holsnes and Sotra. The group will gather in the afternoon at the hostel. We will have plenty of time to explore the city and immerse ourselves in its unique culture and atmosphere. Walking through the central streets and cozy squares of the historic city center, we will get acquainted with the magnificent examples of Scandinavian architecture and try the local cuisine. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a restaurant (own expense), meet the group, get acquainted with the briefing on how the trip is going and check your equipment.
Overnight stay - hostel
We set off to explore the nature of Norway, and the first thing we encounter is the Hardanger tourist road. It passes through incredibly beautiful landscapes, and we stop for lunch and a walk at one of the locations.
We are heading to the Steinsdalsfoss waterfall - we make a stop and enjoy this natural beauty while walking around the waterfall.
We spend the night at the campsite, pitch our tents together for the first time, cook dinner and share our impressions of the first day on the road.

We wake up and without wasting any time go on a hike to the waterfalls along the Husedalen Valley, where we will see the beauty of four enchanting waterfalls. To reach the first waterfall, Tveitafossen, you need to walk about two kilometers. The next two waterfalls, Nyastølfossen and Nykkjesøyfossen, can be seen during the next climb, which will last about 4-6 km. Each of these waterfalls has its own unique shape and creates a magical atmosphere. In order to reach the last, fourth Søtefossen waterfall, we will have to hike up to the Hardangervidda plateau. The trail runs through wooden bridges and paths next to the rocks, but the view of this waterfall is worth every step. We get into the car in the late afternoon and drive to the next campsite in Odda, where we end the day with a view of Lake Sandvinvatnet.

A short drive from the campsite to the start of the hiking part. We leave the car for almost 24 hours and start our exciting 14-16 km long route. But before we get on the trail, we have a briefing - we check our backpacks and warm clothes. The first section is a 400-meter climb, and then we walk along an almost flat path. This hike is among mountains and valleys, with unique views that fill the heart with emotions. After walking for about 4-5 hours, we will reach the Troll's Tongue. Not far from it, we will set up our tents, cook dinner and rest. At sunset, we will go for a photo shoot, enjoying the uniqueness of the moment when the Troll's Tongue belongs only to us. The morning will also be special - we are going to take pictures at dawn. In the morning sunlight, Troll's Tongue looks even more attractive!

After returning to the car in the morning, we will go to the Lutefossen waterfall, which is about 40 minutes by car. A powerful stream falls from a height with incredible force! This is not a drop of water, it is a huge accumulation of natural energy that gives us the opportunity to feel part of the majesty and natural magic. After this exciting experience, we will move on. It will be a steep journey through the picturesque Norwegian landscapes, where every turn of the road reveals a new picture. We will often stop for photos. This trip will bring unforgettable emotions and will be remembered for a lifetime.

Today we will go hiking to Preikestolen, or Preacher's Pulpit, one of the most outstanding natural monuments. This rocky outcrop is hundreds of meters high and offers a view of the fjord. Our ascent usually takes about 2-3 hours. During the route, we will enjoy the views and take a lot of photos. This hiking will be an unforgettable adventure filled with the beauty of nature and incredible impressions. And for those who do not want to climb, there is an opportunity to take a kayak on Lake Refsvatnet and take a break from the hike.
We return back the same way, and in the evening we check into the campsite, where we prepare a delicious grilled dinner.

A short drive from the campsite to the starting point of today's walk. From the first steps, we take the path upwards, which runs among the familiar Norwegian rocks.
Kjerag is a stone block wedged in a crevice between two rocks above a kilometer-long gap. It serves as a natural attraction, a place for our photography. A steep serpentine path with stunning views leads to the starting point of the route. The one-way track takes about 3 hours, but it's worth it!
In the evening, we will spend the last night in a tent overlooking the fjord.

Today is our last day in Norway and a gorgeous evening in the town of Stavanger, if your flight home does not take place in the afternoon from the airport in this city*. In the morning, we fold and dry the tents, see them for the last time during the trip. We move from the campsite by car in the direction of the airport, which is on the way to the center of the town. It is better to buy a flight after 15:00
*Of course, we recommend staying one more night in Norway. The team leader and participants who did not fly in the afternoon check into a hostel. We will walk along the waterfront, visit the old town with its beautiful wooden houses. In the evening, we will have a gastronomic dinner (not included) and say goodbye to the group.

Ukrainian citizens who have a biometric passport do not need a visa to visit Norway. At the border, you may be asked to provide an insurance policy.

Despite the relatively short distance, this trip through Norway is not easy. There will be transitions along the route, often on a not very pleasant rocky landscape. The harsh northern climate also makes it difficult. Choose good equipment that will not let you down.
Buy good, high-quality equipment. On this trip, you will feel all the advantages of expensive membranes over cheap ones/
After the trip, we recommend trekking routes:
If you live near the border with Poland, you can get there by train or bus and take cheap flights to Bergen from Gdansk Airport (GDN). Flights depart every day, the price starts from €24 (valid for spring 24, departure in June - July).
It is also worth considering flying to the Norwegian capital, Oslo, from where you can get to Bergen by train or continue your flight with a stopover.
You need to buy a return ticket from Stavanger. From the airport there is a daily flight to Oslo or Poland, a ticket to Gdansk for ~18€*.

The teamleader meets the group in Bergen (Stavanger), at the hostel, the address of which will be provided closer to the start date of the trek. From the airport, there is a tram to the city center.
It is possible to meet at the airport. The teamleader will come in a minivan to meet the whole group and transfer to the city. But then almost the entire group should have tickets for one flight or arrival at the same time. A consultant and a joint chat with the group will help with this issue.
You need insurance to participate in the program. Please do not neglect this point. It saved thousands of dollars for some participants.
Of course, it's not a cheap pleasure, but to visit Bergen's waterfront and not try seafood delicacies... You will regret it until the next time you come back.
Also, try the sweet Norwegian cheese, it's inexpensive, brown and tastes very interesting.
Buy some ice cream. It's very similar to Icelandic ice cream - just as big, tasty and expensive. Although in Iceland, it's still a little tastier - there are more interesting additions.
At dinner at the campsite, you can buy additional local delicacies, and we will roast them on the fire.
A modern Ford is assigned to the route, and all travel is done in it*. It has separate seats with lateral support, a spacious trunk for things and quick access to them. The driver is a team leader.
*- Sometimes events happen that cannot be predicted. We know and take most of them into account! If this particular minivan will not be at the start, we will warn you and provide an equivalent replacement.
Minimum group for this program: 5 participants. We have calculated the costs for a smaller number, but increased them slightly. So as not to be in the red ourselves.
