We will travel along the slopes of the mountain lakes and admire the panoramic views of the archipelago from the top of the seven most popular peaks, which we reach by car. We will stay in Norwegian houses for the night, preserved from the times of mass fishing, where sailors once lived. However, the Lofoten are not only peaks, but also many fjords! We will go on kayaks and ferries to finally fall in love with the Lofoten Islands.

We walk a lot. Every day in the morning we climb a new peak, rest, and in the evening we go for another walk on the beach or hike in the mountains. Time in the car is 20%/hike time is 80%. At the same time, the load is balanced and within the power of most travelers.
We will spend most of the nights in restored fishermen's houses (rorbu), which have an authentic style and life. This allows you to live the journey in depth
The group is exceptionally small - 8 participants! Every day we will have several breathtaking views - peaks, fjords, and Norwegian mountains all around. The pace of the program with a small group is comfortable, we are not in a hurry, but have plenty of time to walk around the locations.

The group meets in the town of Bodø, where the airport of the same name receives many flights from Oslo. It is in the capital of Norway that most of the participants of our trip make a change, and you may meet on the plane. It is advisable for everyone to be in Bodø by 12:00. A team leader meets you at the airport, and together we go for a short walk through the city center to the ferry crossing, and on the way we will stop at a store to buy some goodies. At 16:00, provided that everyone has arrived in the morning, the group takes the ferry, which takes about 3 hours to the Lofoten Islands. After leaving the port, the team leader gathers the team for a briefing - we will start getting to know each other and get acquainted with the program for the next days. You have time to relax or, on the contrary, join the board games that are in the leader's backpack.
In a couple of hours from the start, the ferry will enter the small islands, which means our stop is approaching. At about 20:00 we get into a modern minivan and drive about 30 minutes to the house where we will spend two nights. After leaving our things, we go to a restaurant and bar nearby and take a walk around the small town of Å, look at the bay and the place where fish are dried. We're going to have a party in the evening if you have any energy left :)
After a good night's rest, we prepare for our first haikus. We pack small backpacks and leave the house. We will take a small ferry among the fjords, which will bring us to picturesque places - Rocky Mountains and beaches. First, we will walk along an easy path, go to the beach and have a snack. After that, the haiku program will gain momentum - we plan to climb to the 602-meter-high peak. Technically, it's not a difficult peak, which offers a panorama of fjords and small settlements, the beach we visited a couple of hours ago. We descend along the familiar path and decide (by this time the length of the haiku was 8 km) whether to walk another 4 km along the thin strip between the rocks and the fjord or take the ferry home. Of course, we are in favor of long walks!
We return to the car and have the opportunity to go to a Norwegian spa - steam rooms and vats (you need to book in advance, immediately after the briefing on the first day/not included in the price). Or the team leader will take the minivan to local locations, which are mandatory before we leave for the north of the Lofoten.

We are packing our bags, today we are going to a new home 140 kilometers away. But we will drive these kilometers at a snail's pace, it's worth it, and we are going to the most famous mountain of the Lofoten Islands and the whole of northern Norway - Reinebringen. 8 km of hiking to the place that most people see when searching for "Lofoten" on Google. It takes most groups about two hours to climb the paved steps. At the top, we get some goodies, and the team leader will make a photo session for everyone. The view from here will be remembered as one of the most favorite during the trip!
At about 15:00 we get into a minivan and go to the next walk. Are you inspired to hike more? This walk is without high altitudes, we go to the famous Kvalvika beach on a 5 km ring track.
Around 20:00 we will be at a fisherman's house (rorba), which we rent for two nights.

Hawaii? That's what the participants say when they see the first photos from kayaking on the 4th day. Until now, the Lofoten have been impressive with their panoramas, but the day has come when we go on the water!
We wake up in the morning, move about 15 km from the house to the boat, which will take us a little further away from the popular cities. And there we will be kayaking and walking between a group of islands with clear water. Swimming is allowed if you want to :) Kayak is not limited in time. Usually, three hours is a comfortable maximum.
We hand over the kayaks and sit down in a small restaurant to taste the delicacies. The team leader opens the map and shows us what other hikes are planned. The nearest one is the famous trail to Fløya through the devil's gate. The well-known pea (a boulder stuck among the rocks in Norway) has an analog on the Lofoten, which we will see during the haiku. The final part is a panorama of the city of Svolvær, the largest on the Lofoten Islands.

In the morning, we leave the roorba, which we will remember as one of the most comfortable and unusual nights. Today we have to make the first long drive of our trip. But don't worry, it's fast and interesting on local roads. According to the established tradition of going to the mountains every day, in the morning we go on a short route to the top of Festvågtind. Although its length is only 2.5 km in both directions, it is not a small amount of altitude to gain. On the way, we will see an interesting copy of southern Norway, but this time it is a small tongue protruding above the abyss. In the afternoon, we descend to the town of Henningsvær, famous for its football field, which we could see from the top (but not as close as it is in the photo:). We have lunch in the town and finally get into the minivan, where the participants rest, enjoying the view from the window for about 2 hours.
Around 19:00 we check into a hotel near tomorrow's mountain Segla.

On this day, the team of travelers goes for a hike to Mount Segla. It is known for its sharp shape that cuts through two fjords like a knife blade. The climb to the observation deck will seem easy after the walks before. We'll make a photo shoot and head towards the nearest lake. At this stage, we decide whether we are going to try to climb to the top of the mountain on pebbles or not. We can do it, and the climb itself will take up to 3 hours. We return to our comfortable house and prepare for a party with games and gifts. Our trip is coming to an end. But tomorrow's move on the Senja skeleton will impress you!

We will be transferred to the nearest airport in Tromsø. Almost 180 kilometers of roads separate us from the overnight accommodation. We cover them slowly and arrive at the airport around 12:30. We advise you to look for flights starting at 14:00, by the way, low-cost airlines have an offer at 14:35 to Poland.
If the departure is later, the teamleader will give you a ride to a cafe in the city/hotel if possible.
The teamleader has the right to make changes to the route depending on the weather conditions, condition and general wishes of the group.
Ukrainian citizens with a biometric passport do not need a visa to visit Norway. At the border, you may be asked to provide an insurance policy.

Despite the relatively short distance of the hikes, this journey through the Lofoten cannot be called easy. There will be transitions on the route, often on a rocky landscape. It is complicated by large differences in altitude - every day you gain ~500m, and then drop this height. Take care of the availability of trekking poles.

While traveling, we stay in houses that have the best rating and service. We try to book houses with a common room and a kitchen. The teamleader prepares meals in it, and in the evening we sit down together to play board games.
Only three times in six nights do we change our place of residence: nights 1 and 2 are near the town of Å; nights 3 and 4 near Svolvær; and nights 5 and 6 on the island of Senja. An example of the houses our group is staying in:
Meals are not included in the program cost. During the first days, we usually organize a shared grocery purchase with an estimated contribution of about 100 euros per person, and we cook breakfasts and dinners together as a group. Light snacks are planned for lunch.
The houses where we will stay have fully equipped kitchens, so cooking will be convenient.
On some days, there will be an option to stop by a café for tea or coffee if you wish. At the same time, please note that restaurants may not always be available near our overnight locations.
Therefore, we recommend choosing products that can be bought in stores and carried with you for several days.
A modern Ford is assigned to the route, and all travel is done in it*. It has separate seats with lateral support, a spacious trunk for things and quick access to them. It is driven by a team leader.
*- Sometimes events happen that cannot be predicted. We know and take most of them into account! If this particular minivan will not be at the start, we will warn you and provide an equivalent replacement.
