Chamonix is known as the cradle of mountaineering. It was here that the first ascent of Mont Blanc took place in 1786. Today, the valley attracts both professional climbers and tourists who want to enjoy the mountains without difficult ascents.
For our walks, we have cable cars that operate all year round. In summer, they are used for excursions to the peaks with incredible panoramas. Regular shuttle buses, which can be used with a subscription, make it easier to get around the valley.
Chamonix is also famous for its restaurants serving traditional Savoyard cuisine. You can taste cheeses, fondue, ratatouille, tartiflette, and fresh croissants. There are coffee shops on the observation decks near the ski lifts with great views of Mont Blanc.

Thanks to the use of cable cars located in the Chamonix Valley, hiking will take only a few hours a day with very small elevation gains.
Each day you will have new views and experiences as we visit places in different parts of the valley, each with its own unique flavor. Some places have special cable cars and mountain railways, others have a fantastic viewpoint or a large-scale glacier.
We will see the best angles of the Mont Blanc mountain range available from the ski lifts, as well as huge glaciers and surrounding peaks, known worldwide for the complexity and steepness of their walls.
Many months before the start of the program, we took care of booking modern hotels. Spacious rooms, beautiful views create the perfect conditions for a vacation, and hiking with just a small backpack won't let you get tired.
The Chamonix Valley has convenient and regular connections to Geneva Airport, as well as to Milan, Lyon, and other French cities, making it quick and affordable to get here from any European city.

We gather in the cozy French town of Chamonix to meet the team leader and the group. We recommend arriving in the morning or in the afternoon to have a good rest and prepare for the upcoming track. In Chamonix, you can buy any necessary equipment: from clothes of famous sports brands to trekking poles or mountain glasses. During dinner at the restaurant, we will have a meeting and a mandatory briefing before the route.
In the morning, we will go to the first observation deck, which offers stunning views of the entire Mont Blanc massif - the summit of Brevent. A cable car leads here, to an altitude of 2525 m, and at the very top there is a cafe with a terrace where you can drink coffee and take vivid photos against the backdrop of the majestic peaks of Les Aiguilles de Chamonix. After going back to the city, we will move to the other end of the valley to the village of Les Houches, from where we will take another cable car to the starting point of our trekking and walk down the road to the station of the famous Tram du Mont Blanc. This tram is used by climbers to climb, while tourists without equipment are allowed to travel only to the Mont Lachaise station, from where we will admire the views of the Chamonix Valley and in a few hours we will go down to the Bellevue cable car.

Today will be full of unusual experiences. First, we will go on one of the highest cable cars in the world with a height difference of more than 2700 m to the top of Aiguille du MIdi, from where we will see Mont Blanc and its slopes as close as if you can touch them with your hand. The top of the Aiguille du Midi is not just an observation deck, but a whole complex of structures with tunnels, balconies and information stands, which usually takes about two hours to see. After an intense tour, we will go down to an altitude of 2300m and walk a short track to the cozy Lac Blanc lake with its magical blue water. We will arrange a small photo shoot here. In the afternoon, we will move to the ice cave, which is built right inside the longest glacier in the valley - the Mer de Glace. From the cave we will take the train back to the city.
Travel time: 1 hour; distance on foot: 2 km; altitude gain: 100 m, descent: 100 m.
We take a bus to the last stop in the valley near the Swiss border. We will take a chairlift to the border itself and walk to the shelter on the Col de Balm pass, located on the Swiss side. From here, we will have another new perspective on the top of Mont Blanc and the picturesque valley below. After checking in with Switzerland, we will move to the Flieger cable car, where you can take some great photos near the artificial lake right under the cable car station. And for those who are ready for tests and adventures, you can make a longer transition with a difference in altitude along a real mountain trail to Lake Lac Blanc.

At the end of our trip, we will visit a unique place where you can see real alpine glaciers up close. We have already visited the ice cave of Mer de Glace, where the glacier has a gentle appearance. Today we will go to a real icefall to see how huge blocks break away from the main mass of ice and form overhanging landforms - seracs. If we are lucky, we will even see and hear some of them falling into the abyss with a roar. The best places to contemplate glaciers in Chamonix are near the Grand Monte ski lift in the village of Argentier and the Le Bosson glacier under the already well-known peak of Aiguille du Midi. We will choose one of them, adjusting to the operation of the lifts. After a busy day, we celebrate the end of the hike and return home full of incredible impressions.
Plane tickets for this day should be for the late evening, after 21:00. You can spend the night in a city with an airport, such as Geneva. If you're not in a hurry to get home, stay in Chamonix and have dinner with your new friends.

Ukrainian citizens with a biometric passport do not need a visa to visit France. At the border, you may be asked to provide an insurance policy.

Of all the options we offer for trekking at the foot of Mont Blanc, this tour is the easiest and also the most comfortable in terms of accommodation. Unlike the backpacking tour around Mont Blanc, where the accommodation is planned in a campsite, during this program the participants are accommodated in modern hotels with comfort and breakfast. Also, this program does not include traveling between nights. We stay in one place for the entire duration of the tour. The daytime transitions are simple and not long, which makes this tour ideal for beginners and those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of the mountains as much as possible without exposing themselves to exhausting trials and challenges, as is the case with the classic Mont Blanc trek.
We will start our day quite early, usually around 8:30-9:00 am. In the morning, there is less chance of clouds and bad weather, so it's best to enjoy the scenery and take beautiful photos in the morning. If the weather permits, we will spend up to an hour on photo shoots in the most picturesque places, so we advise girls to bring beautiful dresses for stunning shots. In the afternoon, we will have a picnic with a snack prepared by our team leader, and if you wish, you can visit a coffee shop for coffee and dessert. We will finish the day's program around 16-17 pm, after which we will go down to the city to rest.
French cuisine is known worldwide for its sophistication and variety of flavors. The Haute-Savoie region, to which Chamonix belongs, is best known for its cheeses, including such varieties as Reblochon, Beaufort, and Le Prince des Gruyères.

Such exotic French dishes as escargot (edible snails) and steak tartare (raw minced beef with egg and spices) will be of interest. Traditional, as elsewhere in France, are pancakes with fillings: crepes made from wheat flour or galettes made from buckwheat flour, which can be both a main course and a dessert.
The MontBlanc MultiPass is a reusable single ticket for all ski lifts and local transportation in the Chamonix Valley. It can be purchased for a certain number of days on specific dates and allows unlimited use of the valley's transport infrastructure during this time. The ticket is personalized and non-transferable, but if you want to visit Chamonix after a while, you can reload the plastic card with the code on it. You can buy it online or at the ticket office of any ski lift.
If you purchased your multi pass online, you will receive a QR code by e-mail, but it is not yet your lift pass. In special machines, you need to scan this code and get a physical plastic card with your name and the date of validity. Now you can attach this card to the turnstiles, and the entrance to any of the valley's lifts becomes convenient and fast for you. When traveling on local buses, the card must be shown to the driver, and it also entitles you to free travel within the valley from Les Houches to Le Tour.
All lifts can be used without restrictions. The only condition is that you need to book a specific time to visit the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which is particularly popular but has limited capacity.
We would like to remind you once again that the multi pass is not included in the tour price and must be purchased by the participants. The consultant will provide additional information and links in a joint chat with the participants who have confirmed their participation in the tour.
