Hello! My name is Oleksandra, and I’m a KULUAR trekking consultant for Europe and Nepal.
My mountain journey began when I was 18 years old, on my very birthday, when I first set out to climb Hoverla. That was my first hike and, at the same time, my first encounter with my true self. Since then, the mountains have become my enduring love — a source of strength, joy, and inspiration.
I’m an archaeologist by education, so being close to nature, living in the field, and life outside of comfort have long been familiar to me. Over the years, I’ve completed two category 1B hikes and earned the title of Mountaineer of Ukraine. I actively engage in sports, yoga, and rock climbing, love walking, practice cold-water immersion, and joyfully write about nature, self-love and body positivity, the joy of contemplation, healthy lifestyle tips, and outdoor fashion.
I was the first in my family to discover trekking — and I managed to inspire all of my loved ones to fall in love with it too. The most valuable thing for me is that now even my mom actively hikes, and we often share these adventures together.
I’ve had the good fortune to hike in the mountains of Ukraine, Georgia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Nepal, and Norway. These journeys have gifted me with invaluable experience, which I’m happy to share with our participants.
I sincerely believe that people go to the mountains to find themselves, to overcome fears and doubts, and return with a sense of strength, inner peace, and confidence. Once you experience this even once — you’ll fall in love with the silence within that nature gives you.
