We are waiting for a fairly simple three-day hike through the Carpathian Mountains. During the hike we will admire the rocky ridges, mountain peaks and, of course, beautiful waterfalls with clean as a teardrop water. We will be pleasantly surprised by two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Carpathians: Buhtivetsky and Maniavsky. This picturesque three-day itinerary will please absolutely everyone!
The most famous waterfalls of Gorgan are waiting for the participants: Bukhtivets, Manyavsky, Maiden's tears, Probyi. In addition, we will climb several peaks, enjoy the sights of Yaremche and get acquainted with the life of Hutsul.
We do not cancel or reschedule groups. If the consultant has given permission to buy a ticket, you can buy it with confidence. There will be no cancellation through our fault.

The group meets and gets acquainted with each other and the instructor at the railway station of Ivano-Frankivsk. It is desirable to arrive at the station early, before 10:00. Here we will distribute food and group equipment. From Ivano-Frankivsk we are going to the village Staraya Huta. This is where the hiking part of our trek will start.
Along the forest path, going among moss and dense fir trees, we move along the Semyatin River. We go around the forests of the residence "Sinegora". Then we stock up on water from a clean mountain stream and climb through the forest to the top of Ripna (1212 m). From it, we have an excellent view of the forested mountain ranges of the Central Gorgan. We'll descend a little lower to the gurgling spring and put our tents on flat areas near the forest. After that, we will prepare dinner and go up to the summit to see off the sun.
During the day, we will cover 8 km, gaining 620 m in altitude.
We have a hearty breakfast, pack up the camp and set off. From the Ripna meadow, we will ascend to the stony Chortka ridge. Here we will get acquainted with stone placers, "gregots", from which, according to one of the versions, the name "Gorgany" was derived. The Chortka ridge is very beautiful, but we will move carefully on the rocks. After passing the placers, we will go into the spruce forest and along the narrow path covered with moss we will move further along the ridge.
After passing a part of the ridge, we will turn down and start our descent to the Manyavsky waterfall. The height of the waterfall is about twenty meters, although visually it is difficult to determine, as it is divided into several cascades. At the end of each cascade there is a small bath, in which you can bathe if you wish. The cold life-giving water will immediately relieve fatigue and give us back our strength!
It is here, above the waterfall, that we will set up our tent camp, and until the evening we will rest, bathe and take pictures.
During the day, we will walk 8 km, gaining 250 meters in altitude and descending to 680 meters.
After yesterday's rest, everyone is full of energy, so we get up early and set off! From Manyavskoe waterfall we go down along the river to Boiki village. Further we will climb up to the Malinovishche hill, from which we can see the views of the large Carpathian village of Manyava. From Malinovishche we go down to refresh ourselves at another cool waterfall - Buchtivetsky. Having washed off the hiking dust and taken a lot of pictures, we successfully finish in Bukovoye village.

During the day, we will walk 12 km, gaining 500 meters in altitude and descending 600 meters.
Depending on weather conditions and general wishes of the group, the teamleader has the right to make changes to the route.

We rated the difficulty of this route as medium. We will have short distance hikes (8-12 km) with medium elevation changes (up to 600m).
Special feature: the route is rarely visited by tourists, but the overnight stay is near the waterfall.
As always, we recommend buying tickets in advance, although there are often still free seats on the trains a week before the start of the trek. You should buy a ticket so that you will be at the railway station of Ivano-Frankivsk by 10 am on the day of the start of the trek. A small delay is acceptable. Back buy a ticket for the evening, best of all for 20-22 hours, then you will still have time to walk around Frankivsk and sit in one of its pubs. You should buy tickets only after we have confirmed your participation in the trip. You can do it at the ticket office at the railway station or online on the website of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The meeting place of the group is the waiting room of Ivano-Frankivsk railway station. The time is set according to the last arriving participant, usually it is 10 am. About 5-7 days before the trek we will send you the exact time of the meeting and contacts of the team leader. Don't forget to check your e-mail!
You're probably wondering what we're going to eat on a camping trip. Let us tell you right away that you should not worry. Many participants say that they eat better on a camping trip than at home. The basis of the menu is a simple meal of porridge and soups. Do not count on exquisite delicacies (although they can be).
If you don't eat some foods, be sure to inform the manager about it so that the team leader can adjust the menu a little bit to suit you. We also recommend bringing some pickpocketing - nuts or sweets. Appetite is much better on a camping trip than at home.
Please note that the menu presented is tentative. Team leaders usually have their own crown dishes, which they like to pamper participants with.

The Carpathians in general are a very rainy region, and our route is no exception. So we should be ready for everything - raincoat is a must! There is also strong wind on the ridges and peaks. Depending on the weather it can be very hot or cool during the day. Most campsites are high-altitude, and even summer evenings and nights will be cold - don't forget to take a hat and gloves!
The program provides for obligatory additional expenses for transfers. You can check their amount with your consultant, as it depends on the cost of fuel and is constantly changing.
There are also optional expenses. Participants buy dried porcini mushrooms, souvenirs for memory and like to have dinner in a restaurant (for example, in the legendary "Ten"). Minimally we recommend taking with you from 300 UAH. And the maximum - it's up to you.
