The snowcat at Dragobrat will serve as a kind of tracked off-road taxi for us. With its help, we'll move from place to place and effortlessly reach new peaks.

In a day, you'll be able to make from 8 descents ranging from 1 to 7 kilometers each!

Snowcat freeride safari is a unique offer that opens up new peaks and untouched slopes of the Svydovets ridge, inaccessible from the resort's lifts.
Riding takes place both in the alpine and subalpine zones, where you'll be able to carve up wide fields of untouched powder, steep couloirs and ridges, as well as in the forest zone, which is accessible even in limited visibility weather, where signature fir trees, snow pillows and the deepest powder await you!
During the descents, your guides will be experienced professionals who are responsible for the safety of the chosen descents.
Who it's for: skiers and snowboarders with sufficient off-piste riding experience, as well as those who have completed the freeride school.
IMPORTANT! If you ride off-piste with uncertainty or have no freeride experience at all, we recommend hiring an individual instructor or consulting about participation in our freeride school.
Guides have the full right to limit the participation of weaker riders in descents for the sake of their own safety. In this case, payment for the program is made in full, and such a participant will ride through the entire program sitting in the snowcat.
Schedule: 9:30 – briefing, 10:00–16:00 – freeride.

We don't cancel or reschedule groups. If the consultant gives the go-ahead to buy a ticket, you can safely do so. The program won't be cancelled due to our fault.

IMPORTANT!
The program starts at 9:30 near the VL-1000 lift (ski-hut), "Driada" hotel. It's important to be on time to register and complete the briefing.
10:00 – Group departure to Zastizhzhia locations. Freeride on untouched snowfields and the signature Drahobrat spruce trees (2–3 descents)
13:00 – We'll ride the slopes of Mt. Krachunyaska. At this stage, the group may split into two – with the option to descend steeper angles or lighter gentle slopes (2–3 descents)
14:00 – Snack
15:00 – Final descents to Yaroshesla meadow (2–3)
16:00–17:00 – Return to base. Free time before dinner (you can order a hot tub/sauna)
18:00–19:00 – Recharge during dinner
20:00 – Freeride technique lecture – debunking myths about freeride technique, answering your tricky questions.
10:00 – Group warm-up on the slopes of Zastizhzhia (1 warm-up descent)
12:00 – Climb to Velykyi Kotel, riding the southern exposure (huge choice of descent lines, 3–5 ascents)
13:00 – Snack
15:00 – Freeride on Mt. Hereshaska (we'll descend to the frozen Hereshaska lake). A location for advanced riders, while the intermediate group will have the option to descend gentler slopes.
16:00–17:00 – Return to base.
18:00–19:00 – Dinner.
20:00 – Kolyba time. A tour of local charming spots and tasting Carpathian liqueurs/BBQ party.
10:00 – Warm-up descents at Zastizhzhia locations (2–3 descents)
12:00 – We'll ride the northern exposures of Velykyi Kotel – both steep technical cirques and forest descents through ancient spruce forest (3–4 descents).
13:00 – Snack
15:00 – Long descent from Mt. Dohyaska through a closed glacial cirque.
16:00–17:00 – Return to base
18:00–19:00 – Dinner
20:00 – Avalanche safety lecture.
10:00 – The highest peaks of the Svydovets ridge – Velyka and Mala Blyznytsia. Long and thrilling descents on southern exposures (3–5 descents)
13:00 – Snack
14:00–16:00 – Long final descent to the village, return to base
Depending on weather conditions, the group's state, and general wishes, the instructor has the right to make changes to the route. Following the instructor's instructions is mandatory and not subject to discussion.

The guides are based at the private estate "Zhuravel" and, depending on availability and participants' preferences, Kuluar travelers can stay here or at nearby hotels: Pik, Prolisok, Adrenalin, Skelya, etc.
There is an option to order a hot tub with a view of the Carpathian Mountains (cost from 400 UAH/hour, minimum order 2 hours – up to 8 people) and a wood-fired sauna (from 150 UAH/person, up to 8 people).
During your free time (and there won't be much of it), we recommend resting and recovering as much as possible before the next busy day of riding. Our evenings and freeride lectures take place at the "Korytsya" café, located on the second floor of the "U Zhuravlya" estate. Here you can also enjoy the tastiest masala on Drahobrat, savor a homey atmosphere, friendly conversation, and a barbecue party. And the real tea ceremonies by the host, Mykhailo Zhuravel, are legendary!
Freeride isn't just powder, untouched terrain, or buttery snow. You'll often encounter crust, hardpack, sastrugi, wind slabs, etc., which can all occur together during a single descent. Likewise, it's not always sunny – there can be fog and "flat light," during which we can safely ride good powder in forested areas. We promise to find descents with the best snow conditions for you, but in freeride, you need to be ready for anything.
If a severe storm starts, we stop/cancel the program and return to base. Payment is calculated according to the amount of time the program actually ran.
