In the south of the African continent lies the country of the most vivid fantasies and dreams - Namibia.
Your trip with Kuluar is a cocktail of elements and impressions, with accommodation in modern lodges and trips in brand-new jeeps. We will see the places where powerful waves of the cold Atlantic meet the hot sand dunes of the world's oldest desert, forming a thin strip between the dunes and the water - you have seen these desert photos many times! This country is one of the least populated in the world, a place where untouched wildlife is successfully combined with modern lodges, near which animals walk calmly. We spend most of our nights in these lodges. Thousands of kilometers of roads await us, which are driven in one breath - here the diversity of the animal world and the creations of time and winds - the dunes, which are considered to be among the largest on the planet!
The amazing atmosphere of the trip will be created by tents on the roof of jeeps, which we deploy several times in the most remote corners of Africa. In addition, you will enjoy cozy evenings by the fire.
Finally, you will have an interesting meeting with animals in their natural environment, namely in the world-famous Etosha National Park. A real oasis of wildlife that really impresses even experienced travelers.

Every day we will have several exciting events. At the same time, the pace of the program is comfortable enough to avoid getting overwhelmed and traveling too many kilometers for a 5-minute photo shoot.
We have provided for a balance of overnight stays - wherever it is possible to stay in a hotel, we do it! We booked the best rooms a few months before departure.
Overnight stays in tents on the roof of jeeps in comfortable campsites with showers and amenities. Meetings in a circle of like-minded people around the campfire and watching the African starry sky.
We will go together with a local guide to meet animals and predators. The chance to meet and see them is extremely high!
There are popular places in the program, probably the ones you go to Namibia for. But Kuluar is about mountains and climbing. Get ready not only to ride in jeeps, but also to go on day hikes.
We have probably the largest number of registrations for trips in Kuluar Club, and we gather great people. When the consultant has given the go-ahead to buy a ticket, you can safely buy them. We will not cancel the program through our fault :)

All participants meet in the capital of Namibia. This day will be spent exploring the city and relaxing after the flight. In the evening, we all go to dinner and get acquainted with the group. The team leader will tell you in detail about the trip, the national parks and the intricacies of traveling by jeep.
Overnight in a comfortable hotel.
During the morning, we prepare the vehicles - the team leader and drivers receive them and get used to the large amount of equipment. In addition to the roof tents, where you can enjoy maximum comfort during the night at the campsites, the jeeps have a lot of camping equipment. At about 10:00 the whole group leaves the big city. We will start our acquaintance with the natural magic of Namibia from the road, the first meetings with zebras and antelopes, which we see from the SUV window.
In a couple of hours we arrive at the villa in the middle of a private reserve. We will spend the night in rooms with zebras, hippos, and giraffes walking behind the fence - this attraction is available to us throughout the day.
We are going on our first safari in a private reserve. A local guide will tell you that today there are great chances to see ostriches, white rhino, impala, elephants, hippos, giraffes and zebras in the wild. This Guided Game Drives takes place on the reserve's vehicles for 3 hours.
Around 20:00, a table with local delicacies will serve.
Most days on our trip have short drives and lots of highs. Today we have one of the longest drives, we are fresh and motivated to do a combo - move inland and hike a lot. So, we set off in the morning to the next point of our journey, 100 km from the villa.
They are waiting for us with pieces of meat, but this time they are not for our table, but for predators. We are amazed at the process of feeding cheetahs, walk around the farm and get acquainted with the animals. Having seen everything in an hour, we move on to the next location - the Waterberg Plateau. We will walk along a sightseeing and not too difficult route among the rocks. If we are lucky, we will see miniature antelopes, which are often found on this trail. After the walk, we will make our last transfer for the day to the campsite, which is located as close as possible to the gates of Etosha National Park.
We will be at the park gate by sunrise. Today we will spend the whole day in the park in our cars, enjoying wildlife watching. Etosha is the whole of Africa in miniature. If you have not been to Etosha, you have not seen Africa! It is home to the entire African Five, thousands of birds and invertebrates. To see the maximum amount of African wildlife, we will drive around most places where there is water. Remember the park's restrictions - do not get out of the cars.
In the morning, we set out to visit an authentic settlement of the local nomadic Himba tribe. Due to the harshness of life in the desert and isolation from the outside world, they have managed to preserve their traditional way of life. The people of the tribe live in clay huts built according to the ancestral method and use ancient clothes and tools.
A couple of hours of travel and a new meeting, but with another Damara tribe. The tribe built their settlements near the cliffs, and in case of danger, the inhabitants would climb up. Nowadays, they no longer lead an ancient way of life, and traditional villages are made for tourists as museums. It's fascinating for the general idea of the tribes of Africa, but we won't stay here for long and drive to the Twyfelfontein place and campsite.
In the morning, a short trek through the Twyfelfontein Valley, where we spent the night. You've already heard that more than 2500 ancient drawings have been found on its rocks, many of them more than 5 thousand years old. Most of the valley is closed to tourists, but we will walk along the route between the rocks and see the most interesting and well-preserved drawings. We will fantasize, and then hear from the team leader the interpretation of these drawings that is common among scientists.
We head towards Spitzkoppe, an amazing place with its landscape, mountains, and starry sky. It is compared to the Matterhorn for its peak shape. We go hiking on the rocks to enjoy the sunset.
As a reminder, our jeeps are equipped with refrigerators, where we store drinks and food, which we will grill on charcoal today, among other things.
We direct our jeeps to the Atlantic coast, meeting with fur seals at Cape Cross. After visiting these friendly animals, we head to the main port city of Namibia - Swakopmund. We will spend the afternoon at a modern villa, where we will stay for two nights. For a gastronomic dinner, we go to a restaurant, walking along the streets of the modern city.
Today is a day of rest from traveling in our usual jeeps, we will not go to a new place to spend the night. Instead, we'll go kayaking along the shore, waiting for seals to jump in!
The second part of the day will be spent in another element, the sands. We will travel in specially equipped jeeps and with local drivers along a narrow strip between the desert and the ocean, climbing the vast dunes of the Namibian desert.
We will finish this extremely busy day in the best restaurant, tasting seafood delicacies.
After breakfast at the villa (hotel), we set off on a 400 km journey, filling our refrigerators with food, towards the oldest desert in Namibia, which was formed more than 80 million years ago. It is home to the highest red dunes on the planet. Some of them are up to 350 meters high!
So the first half of the day will be spent on the road and interesting checkpoints on the way, and around 15:00 we will be accommodated at a campsite in the national park.
We walk near the canyon, go to the dunes to meet the sunset and enjoy the stars in the most beautiful desert, setting up tents on the roof of the jeeps.
We get up early to be at the most popular place in the desert at first light, to visit Deadvlei in the soft light. This is the place where life froze 800 years ago. And while the sun is still gentle to travelers, we will climb one of the highest dunes in the world - Big Daddy.
In the first half of the day, we take the most out of the desert near the national park. Depending on the mood of the group, we will return to the desert in the evening to explore the last dunes of the majestic desert.
This is the pre-final night of the trip in a gorgeous place, where we will recall all the events with a glass of local drink and delicious food.
Today we are on our way to the starting point, the capital city where we started more than a week ago. 400 km of new road for us, new checkpoints for photos and arrival at the hotel in the afternoon. But finally, if the group has the strength and desire, we will walk along the route, which takes about 4 hours. On it, you can see sagaydacha trees, small tubs of water, and the trail itself passes between rocks.
The last kilometers to the capital, we hand over the jeeps and get ready for the last dinner of this trip.
We have breakfast at the hotel and book a shared transfer to the airport, if possible. Departure home

To travel to Namibia, you need a biometric passport. No visa is required for tourism.

Namibia is a country of wonderful and interesting roads. Even where there is off-road, they are in good condition. The driver sees more and lives the route to the fullest. Just look at Etosha National Park, where we drive our jeeps!
But we can't give everyone the opportunity to drive - we need up to 3 drivers per group. Please indicate your desire to be a driver when registering and share your experience with the consultant.
For our part, we give:

- the most comprehensive insurance that can be purchased for the car;
- payment of all expenses that are necessary for the trip - fuel, permits;

The longest drives will be on the days when we leave and return to the airport.
During the whole trip we will drive 2600-2850 km. The description includes the standard program, but in case of force majeure, for example, a broken wheel, we can drive a little more to the nearest service station. And there are good days when we add bonus tracks in search of wild animals. Each trip has its own unique vibe, but one thing is constant - we don't languish in jeeps for the sake of a 5-minute location!
We will spend six nights out of eleven in modern lodges and hotels. We book places with high-quality service, with a booking score of 8.6 and above. But there will also be ultra-local lodges in private nature reserves, where animals walk next to the houses.
For an individual order, the consultant can calculate the cost of independent accommodation for any number of nights and prescribe an additional payment.
Five nights will be spent in tents on the roof of the jeep. The tents have enough space for two people to rest comfortably in them. We do not recommend taking a separate tent that is installed on the ground. Parking of jeeps for the night will be in equipped places where there are amenities according to certain African standards. But it's worth it - an evening by the fire and grilling delicious food.
Namibia is a fairly modern country with plenty of shops and restaurants. Arriving at the end of the world, you will want to taste the local delicacies. We do not include all meals in the price and allow you to choose your own meals at your own discretion. Therefore, the main expense during the trip will be food. Compared to Europe, the prices here are reasonable. A dinner with oysters, meat or fish + drinks can cost ~€23-36. In the first days, and then every other day, we will meet places where we will replenish our refrigerators.
All lodges and hotels already include breakfast. Some lodges serve dinner, it is included. There are restaurants at campsites. If you spend the night in remote regions in tents, the team leader will offer a menu and start cooking dinner. Participants help whenever possible. Also, the team leader gives advice every morning at the briefing on how the group can better spend their meals - stop at a cafe for lunch, or not waste time driving for impressions, having snacks on the way.
Minimum group for this program: 5 participants. We have calculated the costs for a smaller number, but increased them slightly. So as not to be in the red ourselves.

When you arrive at the end of the world, you'll want to savor the local delicacies. We do not include meals* in the price and allow you to choose your own meals at your own discretion. Therefore, the main cost of your trip will be food. Relative to Europe, the prices here are pleasant. A dinner with oysters, meat or fish + drinks can cost ~€23-36. The second expense item is souvenirs from women and children from the Himba tribe. It's hard to say exactly how many things you will buy, but it's roughly €30. We took care of everything else and included it in the price 💚
We recommend that you budget about €550 for the trip and have extra money in case of force majeure.
