Raising my own bar

After another summer trip with Kuluar through the Carpathians, I decided it was time to try something new. Of course, I wanted “bigger” mountains — my eyes kept wandering toward trekking and climbing options in the Caucasus — but I had doubts about whether I was physically ready for that, so I decided it was time to find out what the winter Carpathians are really like.
