Let me tell you where this confidence came from.
Since 2011, Kuluar has been opening the world of mountains to make people happier. Someday I will write a big and detailed story, but for now I recommend reading: “About the Kuluar family — our mission, values, and aspirations.” Starting with a few hikes in the Carpathians and Crimea, now we run about 400 programs a year, including ascents of Everest and treks in the most remote corners of the planet — Patagonia, Bolivia, Peru.
In my understanding, providing a quality product is not a fact, but a process of constant growth and improvement. And here feedback from Kuluar members helps us a lot.
Since 2015, we have introduced quality control — post-hike calls to participants, where we ask about the work of the consultant and the team leader, the meals, the overall organization, and wishes/suggestions. We process the results and, on their basis, often improve the routes, and sometimes even something in the company’s work processes.
I believe that well-founded criticism and remarks are the most useful, because they hide within themselves the main potential for growth. Therefore, of course, we get a little upset when negative reviews come, but we are glad if they are constructive.
Over all the time, more than 22,885 participants have already gone with Kuluar, 97.8% of whom were satisfied, and 2.2% for one reason or another were dissatisfied with the organization. Part of them is our fault, because sometimes there really were organizational mistakes that spoiled participants’ impression of the hike. We acknowledge this and try not to allow them anymore.

Such a high percentage is already a reason for pride, but at the same time it is a reason to develop even more intensively. Even to keep it at its former level, one must make a lot of effort and constantly grow. Which is what we do thanks to feedback from participants, guides, managers, and our own ideas.
But let us return to this promise.

And still, if something goes wrong and you consider it necessary to inform me personally — write! I, as the founder and leader, am responsible for all aspects of the company, and if something went wrong, it means there is a part of my fault in it as well. We will definitely sort out the situation, try to make it so that everyone is satisfied, and so that nothing similar is repeated in the future.
