For example, according to the results of the competition of photographers of the German mountaineering magazine "Alpinismus" in 1966, the judges recognized Alpamayo in the Andes Mountains as the most beautiful mountain peak in the world. This snow and ice mountain of perfect pyramidal shape had no equal at that time.
