About the Teamleader

Hello everyone! My name is Julia, and I’m 29 years old.

I’ve been involved in sports tourism since I was 10 — and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. From my first children’s competitions to challenging category-based treks — I’ve come a long way, and now I guide others along the same path.

I hold the title of Master of Sport and have experience participating in a Grade 6 water-based expedition and leading Grade 3 water-based expeditions on the Bila, Chorna, and Tisa rivers.

As well as water sports, I have experience leading and taking part in hiking trips, and I continue to actively compete in water sports events. For me, it’s not just about teaching, but also about constantly developing and staying fit.

I also work as a club leader in extracurricular education, preparing children for competitions and hiking trips, and organising hiking events and competitions.

For me, tourism is all about responsibility, safety and trust within the team. I’m well versed in the technical aspects of challenging routes, but I’m also skilled at creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for those taking to the water for the first time.

It was my first time trying kayaking. It was a great weekend—we had a wonderful, friendly group, and our team leader was fantastic. I really enjoyed the food cooked over an open fire; there was plenty for everyone—sweet and savory dishes, and plenty to drink. The kayaking trip itself went well—we kept a pretty steady pace, no one drifted too far ahead, and we waited for those who occasionally fell behind. I want to point out that you absolutely must bring sunscreen and a long-sleeved shirt, since it’s very easy to get sunburned on the water, and your legs are no exception. Also, people who aren’t very fit should be prepared for some mild muscle soreness, since we don’t usually use the muscle groups involved in kayaking in our daily lives. Overall, we were left with nothing but positive impressions: the food was delicious, the kayaks were in excellent condition, and the trip leader was knowledgeable and positive.

I’d like to sincerely thank you for the wonderfully organized rafting trip down the Ros River! I had an incredible experience, a flood of positive emotions, and unforgettable memories. A special thank you to our team leaders—Oleksandr and Oleksandra. They are incredibly attentive, friendly, and responsible people. They were always there for us, helping with any issues, fostering a friendly atmosphere, and ensuring the comfort and safety of every participant. Thanks to their professionalism, sincerity, and good spirits, the trip went smoothly, was interesting, and felt very heartwarming. It was a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful team.
