Once upon a time, back in 2003, an opportunity opened up for a simple country boy to go on a little mountain hike like his knowledge of this creation of nature. And it forever changed his life, my life... Everything I did thereafter was aimed at one goal: the possibility of seeing this beauty for the rest of my existence. And life gave me that chance! Faculty of Geology gave me knowledge of the structure of all mountain systems of our planet, ideas about their formation during hundreds of millions of years... Section of orienteering taught me to be a confident user of topographic maps, and to masterfully handle a compass.
It was not enough to find people of the same heart, with a desire to discover the greatness of mountains and to find my place among all this beauty. And they were found and became my support and backbone. I meet such people every day, and I will be glad to meet them again and make new friendships for the sake of achieving a common goal: to reach the pinnacle of human happiness.
