A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Hanna Usyk — a mountain guide in Slovenia, where I’ve been living for over four years among the picturesque Alps. I started hiking back in my school years in the Carpathians, and today I spend nearly every weekend in the mountains — discovering new trails across Slovenia and northern Italy.
What draws me to the mountains isn’t just the beauty of the landscapes, but also the chance to feel the living presence of nature — its power, peace, and harmony. For me, it’s always more than just a walk: it’s a journey that inspires, clears the mind, and brings true emotions.
I completed a training course and obtained a licensed mountain guide certification in Slovenia, where I studied safety basics, navigation, first aid, and route planning. What I especially enjoy is being there when people discover the mountain world for the first time — those moments of genuine wonder are always inspiring.
On hikes, it’s important for me to create an atmosphere of trust and ease, where everyone can not only complete the route but also simply be — alone with nature, with themselves, and with new sensations.
Beyond the mountains, I enjoy filming videos, study management at university, and take an interest in psychology, personal growth, and the art of seeing beauty in everyday things.
