Briefly about myself
My life as a hiker began back in high school: at first it was small trips for 2-3 days with overnight stay with a class teacher - with tents, campfire, water from a well 3-4 km away. These were the first lessons of survival in unfamiliar conditions. In high school, on longer hikes I got good skills in working with a variety of equipment, got interested in topography and orienteering.
In my youth I hiked a lot in the Crimea and the Carpathians, then I also led hikes there. I took groups to the mountains of Georgia, Romania, Turkey, Cyprus. I passed the Portuguese Way of Santiago - there are no mountains on the route, but this country has won me by its bright difference from the rest of the Europe we are accustomed to.
Mountains are endlessly beckoning and hard to resist, and travel allows you to open a window to this wonderful other world. Soulful conversations and songs by the fire, thousands of stars in the night sky, and nature are the best things you can get from a hike, and these memories will warm your soul for a long time to come.
