Each one was special and impressive in its own way. And we were always satisfied.
This time, the decision was made quickly because the vacation was decided at the last minute, so it was especially great that I could trust the travel company and only had to choose the destination and buy plane tickets.
This time, I managed to persuade my teenage son to fly, and although he was skeptical at first, in the end he said, “Mom, thank you.”
And that was a special moment for me too, because unlike us, his travel-crazy parents, he gets his emotions, unfortunately, mostly virtually.

It was a compromise between us: I wanted to go hiking, but he refused to sleep in tents.
Our team leader, Alexander, knows how to find an approach to everyone.
He manages gently, giving the group a lot of freedom in making joint decisions. But when necessary, his voice is firm.
For example, each time, those on duty decided what to cook and what they needed for that, but the team leader suggested the place and time for shopping.
We also had the advantage that one of the group members was the future chef of a fashionable restaurant, so when he was on duty, everyone waited in anticipation, and, of course, he did not disappoint us.

Interestingly, one of the lodgings had not only a jacuzzi, but also a professional set of expensive knives, so everything worked out perfectly for our “chef.”
The incredibly captivating nature constantly filled our glasses with aesthetic pleasure.
You constantly see this unreal beauty and think, how is it that Norwegians got both mountains and the sea (and other natural riches) at the same time.
Although the water is cool in the north, this did not prevent us from swimming several times. And the sea is always beautiful and beneficial.
Just enjoy the thrill! When we traveled by ferry, including the Triville, we again had the opportunity to enjoy the color of the water and the views.
The climbs were also very enjoyable: not difficult and varied every day, sometimes stairs, sometimes paths, sometimes boulders. And most importantly, it wasn't hot.
The issue of temperature comfort is important to me. That's why I choose countries that are cooler in the summer and vice versa.

We were lucky with the company, everyone was nice, we talked a lot. Today it is especially pleasant that everyone is on the same Ukrainian wavelength.
There was another unexpected entertainment that brought everyone even more pleasure. We caught huge and delicious fish.
We also tasted sea urchins, because who was with us? That's right, the chef, who knew how to do it safely.

Special thanks to consultant Irina for booking accommodation, each of which had an unbeatable view.
And since we spent two nights there, the day after the trek, we drove home knowing that comfort awaited us (we could even wash our clothes and not take any extra with us) with a beautiful view.
Each subsequent place we stopped for the night was more beautiful than the previous one, and at the last one, we just wanted to stay and not go anywhere else.
There, we could just stare out the panoramic windows and ask ourselves if we were dreaming.

We were also very lucky with the weather and were able to complete almost the entire program listed on the website.
In Lofoten, you can also see shops of the near civilized future — completely without salespeople. You enter using your bank card, choose what you want, and pay.

The photos turned out wonderful, as taken by Alexander, whose talent is always a plus for both team leaders and participants. But they do not convey, as you can imagine, the real beauty.

What I want to say at the end. Traveling heals us better than any medicine, we learn something new about ourselves or others. And if you love hiking in beautiful places and want comfort at the same time, Lofoten is the place for you.
