We will tell you what documents to have on hand, where to fill out the electronic application form, and share some life hacks for navigating Kathmandu International Airport.
Follow these simple steps, and the procedure will take a minimum of time. So, let's get down to business.
List of documents required for obtaining a visa to Nepal
Before flying to Nepal, prepare the following documents:
- The foreign passport you used to purchase tickets and which you provided to us for processing all permits. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your return flight. It is important that there are blank pages in your passport for affixing the visa.
- Printed airline tickets.
- Travel insurance covering risks for the entire duration of the trip. Recommendations for obtaining insurance.
- Printed online visa form from the website of the Nepal Immigration Department. An example of how to fill it out is provided below (open the image in a new window to see a larger version of the screenshot). Fill out the form a few days before departure.
Attention! In the example in the screenshot, the visa is for 15 days. When filling out the application, select the number of days that corresponds to your stay in Nepal!

👉 After filling out the form, a confirmation form will appear where you can check the information you have entered.

Click the Download button below to download the completed form. Then click the Card Payment button and proceed to pay for the visa..
Be sure to print out all documents and keep them with you throughout the entire flight. Do not put them away in your bag, starting from the moment you check in for your first flight until you leave Kathmandu Airport. You will need to present some of these documents at the request of the staff during boarding, transfer, disembarkation, etc.
What to do upon arrival in Kathmandu:
- With a paid visa, we go straight to passport control, approach the appropriate window and hand over all our documents, forms, payment receipts - and receive a visa stuck into our foreign passport.;
- Collect your luggage. BE SURE TO KEEP your baggage/luggage tag and the baggage tag receipt, which is attached to the back of your passport or boarding pass (baggage tag receipt/baggage claim tag). When leaving the airport, your luggage may be checked against your ticket.;
- A representative of the Kuluar club will be waiting for you at the airport exit..
Welcome to Nepal, and we hope you have an unforgettable experience!
