Even before the hike began, the consultants sent a detailed list of the necessary gear, so we were able to prepare everything calmly without worrying that we’d forget something at the last minute

On the first day, we picked up our gear, got to know the group, and set off on new adventures. From the very first kilometers, it became clear that a truly action-packed route awaited us.
The most pleasant surprise was that, in addition to the planned locations, we got the bonus of climbing Mount Gutyn. It’s an incredible place with a fantastic view of Lake Brebeneskul.
It’s a shame we didn’t have much time for a photo session, but we still managed to snap a few shots. Still, these views will definitely stay with us for a long time.

I especially loved that in just three days we got to see such a wide variety of the Carpathians. We walked along cozy forest trails, admired the majestic cliffs of Shpytsi, and spent the night by Lake Nesamovite.
This diversity of landscapes makes the route very interesting and anything but monotonous

We were, you could say, very lucky with the weather. According to the forecast, it was supposed to rain every day, and the temperature was expected to be quite low—at least for me, since I love the heat. But nature decided to treat us.
We only had a light rain on the first day, and it didn’t stop us from enjoying the hike at all. The next night, the rain made its presence known again, but we were already in our cozy tents, so listening to the raindrops tapping on the tent canopy was actually quite atmospheric.

In the end, the weather turned out to be much better than we expected, and the hike was very comfortable.
I’d especially like to thank the managers for advising me to wear broken-in shoes. I’d once gone on a hike in new sneakers, and the blisters really ruined the experience for me back then.
This time, I followed their advice and never once regretted it. That’s why I also advise future participants not to overlook such seemingly minor details—they really do make a difference.

What I love most about the mountains is that special feeling of freedom when you don’t need the internet or cell service. There’s just fresh air, incredible views, the sound of the wind, and people around you who are just as in love with the mountains.
It’s precisely for these moments that I want to come back again and again.
A huge thank you to our guide, Olya. She constantly made sure everyone was comfortable, carefully kept an eye on the group’s pace, and maintained a wonderful atmosphere throughout the entire trip.
The food was a particularly pleasant surprise. To be honest, I was expecting the usual canned stew with porridge, but it turned out to be completely different.
Olya had prepared Bolognese sauce, meat for pilaf, and borscht seasoning in advance, and all the dishes were so delicious that sometimes I can’t even cook them that well at home.
There were also more than enough snacks—sandwiches, nuts, and other treats—so no one went hungry.
I also appreciated how well the logistics were organized. As soon as we came down from the mountains and had a snack, the shuttle arrived to take us back to Ivano-Frankivsk.
Everything went smoothly, without any unnecessary waiting or stress.
This hike gave me not only new trails and beautiful photos, but also a sense of peace, a chance to recharge, and many warm memories. If you’re still hesitating about whether to go to the mountains—it’s definitely worth it.
For me, this is already my second wonderful hike, and I’m almost certain it won’t be my last.
