Exactly what I wanted—challenges and adventure

A great club. I went with them to Pip Ivan and Mykulescu. I really enjoyed it, even though the hike itself was “moderate+” in difficulty (I’d even call it “difficult” given the weather conditions)—it was exactly what I wanted: a challenge and an adventure. I know they also have much easier hikes for beginners. I liked how well-organized everything was—a well-oiled machine. A big thank you to the group leader, Oleksandr Lyakh, a hiker with vast experience who’s attentive to people, feeds us until we’re stuffed, and has a great sense of humor.
