Hi friends, we have great news: the active part of the expedition to Everest and Lhotse has started in Nepal. Now there are 4 couloir groups on the route, each of them has its own goal:
All four groups move together all the way up to the base camp of the world's highest mountain. The active part of the trek began on April 11, when the groups flew from Kathmandu to Lukla. The next day the participants reached Namche Bazar where they spent 2 nights for acclimatization purposes. The next destination was the village of Tyangboche which was reached on Wednesday.
