Hi friends, here is the latest news from Nepal from our expedition team climbing Everest and Lhotse.
On Tuesday, June 1, a group of five people led by teamleader Nikita Balabanov climbed successfully to the summit of Everest! In addition to Nikita, the group consisted of Natalia Vladykina, Sergey Belov, Vitaly Hinenzon and Sergey Denisenko. We congratulate the guys and wish them a successful descent and good health.
The other part of our expedition team, whose goal was to climb Lhotse, had to abandon the ascent. The reason was heavy snowfalls and blocked the fixed ropes on which the ascent was to take place. All four participants (Taras Pozdnii, Dmitry Semerenko, Yurii Solodukhin and Pavel Bezdenezhnykh) have already come down to Everest Base Camp and are resting after several days of hard work in high-altitude camps.
