The idea behind the collection

Three winter programmes – three different mountain ranges – and peaks that everyone who has ever dreamed of the real winter Carpathians knows.

Winter Hut Peaks is a collection for those who want to climb the highest peaks of the Carpathians and return to warmth in the evening: to a cottage or mountain shelter, with a hot dinner, gatherings and rest before the next outing.

Briefly about the collection routes

• Winter ascent of Hoverla and Petros: the two most famous two-thousand-metre peaks. The ascents start from a mountain hut, with a bathhouse and evening relaxation. Winter Hoverla can be gentle, or it can show its character: snow and frost turn the familiar route into a real adventure. After Hoverla comes Petros: more severe and more technical. It is on this climb that crampons are most often needed.
• Winter hike in the Gorgany Mountains with accommodation in mountain huts: you will climb the highest peak of the range – Velyka Syvulia, as well as the equally beautiful Mount Grofa. Usually, the ascent to Syvulya takes several days, with overnight stays in tents, but in our programme we offer one-day trips: we set off from a comfortable house and return there in the evening. We will use forest roads and unmarked but proven trails.
• Hike to Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi – accommodation in a shelter, visit to the famous observatory with frozen walls, known as the "White Elephant", and, at the end of the route, views of the Chemehivsky Canyon.
