Hi, I'm Mykola.
An ordinary man with a full life and a deep love for the mountains. I spent my childhood in Vorokhta — and I’m absolutely delighted to still be living here, in the heart of the Carpathians, with my family. For me, the mountains aren’t just a job; they’re a source of inspiration, rejuvenation and the best antidepressant there is.
Until 2017, I had the honour of serving side by side with our country’s finest sons and daughters in the Azov Regiment. After my service, I returned to civilian life and, from 2017, began leading groups in the mountains — and immediately realised that this was my calling. After February 2022, I put on my uniform again: I served in the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 46th Airborne Brigade. In the summer of 2025, I returned home — and straight back to the mountains. Because that is where I belong.
Today, I am the father of a wonderful daughter, the husband of a lovely wife, and a man who, despite my injury, continues to lead groups—because the mountains are waiting, and it’s not in my nature to stop. I consider one thing to be my greatest achievement in my work: people want to go hiking with me time and time again. That’s all I need.
I love travelling with people who feel the same way I do. Let’s enjoy the beauty of our planet together!
