With Kuluar we made winter ascents of Hoverla and Petros together with my eldest daughter Polina, under the guidance of Dmytro Pryimachenko. The organization was top-notch, safety 100%. I was amazed by his attitude toward the mountains, his love of nature, and his care for the environment. We walked the Chornohora ridge with Kostiantyn Martyniuk-Lototskyi — beyond all praise. A fascinating trek right in the heart of the Carpathians, Kostia is a true professional, I spent a year adjusting my schedule just to go somewhere with him again. I haven't given up hope. And Natalia Shelepiuk fulfilled my long-standing dream: our family hiking journey began with the trip under her guidance, "Child of the Mountains," on September 8-10, 2019. She managed to infect my younger daughter Tasia and my wife Viktoria with her love of the mountains. An amazing woman, very subtly attuned to people, especially children, loving and understanding the mountains. Her technical, tactical, and physical preparation is top-level — a Guide with a capital G. Thank you, guys, for giving me the chance to return to the mountains and for opening them up to my girls.
