A friend and I decided to go on a trip to Mount Ararat with KULUAR, and I’d like to share my impressions.
First of all, I want to highlight how helpful the consultant was right from the very beginning of our preparations. Our first phone call lasted about 40 minutes, and during that time, he happily answered all our questions—from choosing gear and clothing to physical training for the climb. Next, we met our group’s guide in person.
Igor Sluchik is a top-notch guy! He checked our gear, suggested what we should change or add, and was generally there for us at every stage of preparation. It was really cool to hear about his personal experience in this field, and I’d especially like to mention his jokes, which we’ll definitely keep in our “arsenal” from now on 😄
As for the organization of the climb itself—there were no major issues; everything was clear and well-organized. In addition to the fun and interesting moments, I’d like to specifically highlight the guide’s professional work during the actual ascent of Ararat.
I had a problem with my gloves—my hands were freezing. The team leader reacted immediately and provided a spare pair of gloves, which helped warm my hands so I could continue the climb. In the end, we successfully reached the summit! 🏔️
I’m attaching a few photos to this review. I think it’s best not to describe the beauty of Ararat in words—you simply have to see it with your own eyes.
Thank you, KULUAR, for this experience! It was a truly challenging but incredible climb that will definitely stay with me for a long time🤝🏔️
