This isn’t the first time I’ve travelled with Kuluar. But this time, it’s been something quite special. No wonder it took me much longer to come to terms with the experience, even in some small way. Everything comes together here at once: the realisation of just how unbridled a force nature truly is; just how small, weak and naïve a person is who fails to recognise this force; and just how wise are those who try to live ‘in accessible harmony’ with this nature, without attempting to ‘subdue’ it. And in all of this lies harmony: between the majesty of nature and the human being who lives in harmony with it.
