Thank you for the winter hike to Pip Ivan; it was absolutely magical. Near the “Smotrych” shelter, there’s a springtime atmosphere with crocuses blooming, but as you ascend the mountains, winter sets in: snow, a light breeze, and incredible views. Our guide, Natalia, is the life of the group—from our meeting in Ivano-Frankivsk all the way to the summit, she knows how to lift everyone’s spirits. We were also lucky with the weather; although the group was small, everyone had a great time, made new friends, and shared stories about the mountains, hikes, and hobbies.
