The Dolomites are very beautiful, I really liked the mountains themselves, and I actually liked the camping format too. We had a good guide, easy-going, she cooked very tasty food, and there were good people in the group, everyone calm and nice. But I didn't like the general rush. Because of it I didn't get to enjoy the scenery enough — we were running all the time. The hike was great, but I wanted a calmer pace. It's because we were constantly hurrying to catch the buses back, and that's the downside. I would rather have paid more and had a transfer pick us up on the way back, so we would have more time to be in the mountains at a normal pace.
