August 1–3, 2026. Three days—though actually four, since I arrived a day early—were a time of transformation, reflection, and relaxation for me.... I walked 72 km and cleared my head. I saw the beauty, breathed in the fresh air, chatted with interesting people, ate delicious food, and sang along to songs accompanied by a guitar. Thank you to the organizers, and to Dmytro, who told stories, offered support, and worried that he might be walking too fast. I walked at my own pace because the steep climbs were very difficult, plus the heat isn’t really my thing. And now I understand why those trekking poles are necessary.
