We have several trekking routes to Everest Base Camp – we can include any of them in the itinerary.
- Trekking to Everest Base Camp — a classic trek to Base Camp via Namche Bazaar, offering unrivalled views of Ama Dablam, with an overnight stay at the 'Pyramid' and a climb up Kalla Pattar.
- The route to Everest via the Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass — an extended route that includes three extra days, the summit of Gokyo Ri (5,330 m) and Cho La Pass (5,420 m), as well as several nights spent in colder conditions. The reward, however, is the incredible Gokyo Lakes and significantly better views of Everest itself. Our favourite route.
In 95% of cases, you will first complete one of the Everest route programmes and then set off on a trek to K2.
- Trekking to K2 Base Camp + Gondogoro-La Pass (5,650 m) — the route runs through the heart of the Karakoram along the Baltoro Glacier to Concordia, a point where several eight-thousanders converge. From the Gondogoro-La Pass, K2, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum are visible. The route is physically demanding, but we have ensured the best possible service – with porters and local staff who will set up the camps and prepare meals.
